If there is a bad stain you can also try to dry clean the pants.
It affects the raw denim colour a little bit less then a regular laundry

Question: How do you guys stretch the inseam after washing? Just pull on them? How hard?

Unless your jeans are too short, there's no need to do that.

You can hold the inseam from the crotch with one hand, to the hem with the other.

I thought it's to prevent jeans from shrinking in length after washing? What about after the first washof a pair of raw jeans?

    Thanks for your reply.

Must have been covered before but didn't find it....what would you recommend for a black denim (Tube Kelly)?

If you're talking about TK org black black, they say on nudie website it is indigo overdyed with black.
Means they are supposed to fade, eventually...
I'd treat them like any raw jeans: wait a while before first wash, only wash when necessary, and no ironing.

    ^^
    Yes, to "prevent" shrinking.
But if loosing 2 cm length after first wash is a problem, then the jeans were probably too short from the start.

Yep, that's the one! I've been wearing it for a year and half, no wash... did some rotations though...it will actually be 2 years in August so I think it's high time to do something, so thanks for the tips. There's some fading everywhere (knees, butt area, honeycombs) anxious to see how it will turn out after its 1st wash!

Please post pics when you wash em. I'd really like to see how they look.
