APC New Cures

Hello, after much debate I decided to buy a pair of New Cures. They are nice quality but I am not really feeling the fit, as in too tight. I know APCs stretch really much but I am uncertain if they will stretch to what I feel comfortable wearing. So I'm thinking about returning them and getting some Cure's. Because If I've been informed correctly they fit between the New Cures and New Standards. I ordered one size down in these New Cure's (31) and after a while they will be good in the waist area so how much should I size down for the Cure's, also just one? I will attach some images and I hope you can help me in a timely fashion because I've only got a few days before I have to return them. So it really is keep or return for different model, I'm aiming for a bit more relaxed fit but not so as the New Standard. The waist fits good but I'm looking for a bit wider legs and a slightly larger leg opening. Oh yeah, does anyone have experience returning stuff with apc? Thanks

if you have worn slim jims what size do you take in comparison??

those fit really well. if you were to size down for the cures i don't think they'd fit that much differently.

yeah those are super nice
i had the same problem with my slim jims, they were too tight at first in the thighs
but as i wore them they stretched so perfect
they are my best fitting jeans

I've returned them a while ago and now have a great pair of Cures. These fit exactly how I wanted them to, a bit less tight then those New Cures :)

I'm brand new to both the forum and the world of denim. Before I just used to buy a pair of jeans and wash them almost immediately but after seeing a pair of truly knackered nudies I fell in love and want a pair of my own worn jeans. I'll be an art student as of Sept. this year and a pair of jeans I don't wash until I like the fading seems like a good idea.

I'm a stupidly slim fit, so much so tight long johns are the only nudies I like the fit of and my local nudie store doesn't stock them in smaller sizes (I need 28). I've found some APC New Cure locally which I'm interested in but first I have a question (If I'm in the wrong thread please direct me to the right place?).

People say that you should buy 2 sizes down in APC jeans. However as I am a 28x32 in my Levi 511s which fit perfectly and can only find APC NC's in 28. If I wear a belt with the NC's for 6 months will they stretch and wear as normal but not stretch at the waist?

Will the same apply to nudie jeans in a 28?
