Thanks for getting back to me - I thought sizing down would be the way to go. 26 seems scarily small though so I think I'll go for the 27. Cheers for the help :)

Hey there, I picked up my first pair of raw denim about a month ago (SJBDT 32x30). The waist fit just right at first, but as I should have known, they have stretched out considerably since (ok with a belt though). I've just ordered a pair of Grim Trim Orig Dry Selvage in 31x30, but reading some of these posts has got me worried. Based on my description, and pics in links below, should I have gone for 32x30 insteadl? I have big thighs and butt from squats and deadlifts, haha. Am I going to have issues with these?

hello everybody .. im new here and im wondering whether the Grim Tim " Black Coated Indigo " will fade ? since it's not called Dry Black Coated .. need guidance thanks !
Can any1 verify the accuracy of the nudies.com fit guide for SJ vs GT? The pictures make it look like GT has more room from the knees up compared to SJ.
Ugh... I can't decide whether to go for SJ or GT for my first pair.
The only other slim jeans I have experience with are Diesel Thavar and 7s slimmy fit. Can anyone compare them to GT/SJ?
Im basically looking for something that is slimming/straight but not skin tight and enough room to breathe. Im about 5'8-5'9, 160lb, slim build but not skinny.
Thanks ahead of time for any help
p.s. dry dirt organic VS. organic brokentwill
which is better?
Hey, I'm really interested in buying a pair of Grim Tims, but it seems that the measurements vary even between different washes of GT. Nudie's own website doesn't make a difference between different washes but says all GT's have the same measurements, whereas for example an online clothes retailer Nelly has individual measurements for each wash (http://nelly.com/eu/search/#searchSt...m+tim&form=top). Some other online stores report different measurements. So I'm pretty confused what I should trust.
I'd like the "across waist" measurement (D in this picture: http://s.nelly.com/img/sizeguide/new/3.gif) for a pair to be 43-44 cm and judging by different sources, that could be anything from waist 32" to 36".
So I would really appreciate you measuring your pairs of Grim Tims and reporting their size, wash and actual measurements.
I'm especially interested in organic dry navy, dry dirt organic and organic black light.

I'm a tall guy so I'm interested in inseam 36", but I'd assume an inseam 34" has the same across waist measurement.
Thanks a bunch!
Hey! I got me a pair of Grim Tims Dry Dirt Organic withw size 33", and after wearing them for some days they stretched to about size 33,5" to 34" size (45cm across waist) if I compare them to a Levis 501's size. So I wear them a bit lower than usual.
I read that they shrink about 0,5"-1" after the wash, which I'm gonna do after the 6+ months.
The last pages of that thread have some good info: http://mynudies.com/showthread.php?4...im-Tim!/page11

Thanks so much for the quick reply! Dry Dirt Organic is probably my #1 choice at the moment so I really appreciate your comment.
Did you measure the 45cm yourself?
And thanks for the link.
Yea, I measured the 45cm myself today. Anyway, I don't really regret that I bought them at size w33, which is my normal size, I love those jeans, but yea, as said my Levis 501 size w33 are 43cm, so get them a size smaller than usual if you want the same fit, atleast until the wash.
