i like your style, what jeans were you wearing there???nice fit, nice outfit!
I got a jacket from refrigiwear
guys you want a great winter jacket made from Canada go with Canada Goose jacket
theyre nice, but absolutely TOO expensive.
i dont know how much they are over there, but round here you dont get the cheapest ones for less than 500euros. (->700$!!:-?)
In Canada, depending on the model 350 to 500 CAD (equivalent in USD). But you could get online instead of buying at a local store. Another alternative would be ebay. Sellers sell them for quiete cheap.
i picked up a jacket from the APC shop a few backs, and it fits great. hooray for companies that make estra-small.
what do you guys think of the jacket?
its a zara jacket, the photos wash out the color, its a true olive green with tan brown on the bottom and detailing. 100%cotton..feels decent but not super warm.
i dont like the crappy buttons, they feel like they are goin to fall off at any point. and the tan brown detailing looks sorta weird. its cut a bit loose as well but not too bad.
but its only $90 or so. not sure if i should keep it or hold out for something better.
sorry for crap cell phone pics
This is one of nicest jacket I've seen... I really like to have this...
What do you think guys?
I didn't want to resurrect this old thread, but I don't think that there is anywhere else to put this. I recently made an amazing purchase in the way of a jacket, even though it's summer. I bought a vintage 1945 WWII Navy issue peacoat from an antique mall. Even though it's 60+ years old, it is in great condition, and has all the details. Anchor buttons, chinstrap, courduroy pockets, and it's heavy as all hell. The fit is slimming, but still very masculine. This coat is the real deal that designers today (Mister Freedom, Schott, etc) get their inspiration from. I'll post pics sometime. The only flaw is that the liner is a little ripped, so I'm going to have a new on sewn in to make it perfect.
I'm thinking of picking up a replica in fall, don't know which brand yet, still in the process of doing research... if only i would run into a real vintage Navy peacoat, fat chance
I picked up the same deal not too recently, and posted pictures if I recall. Though I believe mine was just a few years post WWII. The Pea Coat is the definition of timeless fashion.
Not exactly appropriate for snowboarding however. In those cases, this comes out:
Im buying this jacket for the winter, especially because I get 20% off :]
I was just curious on the factor that it's wool and will be dealing with rainy nights. Since I have never dealt with wool personally what are some things I should know. Is it one of those things where once the jacket gets wet I have to let it dry out for days....**** what a band investment this could be ha.
Lambskin Goose for the real Winter
Triple Five Soul
Sorry for not having pants on lol.
Those type of jackets or very comfortable, especially when you want to sleep during lecture. I just can't feel comfortable wearing them out; the "fluff" factor just isn't me.
referring to the lambskin Goose jacket..
It's butter soft. Looks bulky but it wears light.
I've been trying to find a nice coat for winter, but didn't have any luck. I want something slim but long, no 3/4 coat. Doesn't seem to be "en vogue" right now :-(
It could, for example, look like this:
Maybe a little less formal, but I think this thing might also work with a nice pair of jeans. It's from U-ni-ty and quite expensive ($ 817) plus I only found it on ssense.com, so importing it from the USA to Germany would kill me off money-wise.
If anyone knows something similar (or totally different but slim and long ;-) ), please let me know. Thanks.
Edit: Oh, and of course I have searched already, online aswell as in verious shops where I live...so I just ask if somebody by chance has seen something nice, 'cause all by youself you always miss something. Just added that because a guy on the previous page complained about having others search for you...
Ben Sherman Gunsmith for 240 € looks like the one you posted.
You could also check Azita in Frankfurt. They got some APC stuff, which looks quite awesome.
I love my Gloverall. You guys should all have one too.
