I want some black '47 canes now. Well that and reg '47 canes. Really there is alot i want, and I most likely don't need them all. Nothing wrong with having a wish list tho. just would like to get them at some point.

I kinda want something cutting like an APC Petite Standard (but I'm not sold on APC myself) - I've been told the Samurai S710XX are similarly tapered, so I'm looking at them next - I wonder if they're cheaper IN japan...

S0500XX...as a real back-up to the Denime. They are supposed to fade rather fast and after all the slow-fader (including the 66xx) some fast-faders are welcome (the #2000 No.1 are also slow-faders).

thx! I'm happy that you don't condemn me to think about other denim even before the contest starts
I was eyeing the 710 as well (I wonder how that heavy denim feels)...but I don't think I can make them fit like yours and I'm moving away from tight/skinny fits.
    Will propably order from 2nd

well, if i´d get a pair of denim now, i´d get a pair of s710x2nd- amazing jeans imo. (as i said before, i love the 710 fit...but i´m really positive about the 66xx after trying it on again :-D )

Everybody who does order from 2nd say blablax2nd. Are all their jeans collabs and different from the standard ones? What's the difference between the s710x2nd and your pair?
yeah the 66xx will look good on both of us!

on the 66xx: yeah, your presoak fit was pretty nice, too

2nd also has the regular model, but they also do lots of collabs.
the s710x2nd is made from 15oz denim and contrast colored arcs (opposed to 19oz and black arcs on the regular 710)
    looks like this:

i really love the detail on the arcs-two different color threads:

it also has a special tag:

and some sort of cool selvage:

Ah, now I see. Those are really nice and I dig the contrast stitching...esp the two-tone stitching. Ans the selvage line is one of a kind. Are the any further information about the denim?
The tag looks a bit overloaded to me but that's just me.
So the S0500XX from them should be the regular ones.

I'm thinking of soaking the 66xx at 3a.m. because at that time the newspaper should arrive at my home. Are you up for a nighty soak? :-D

hehe, actually i though about going downtown on monday and pick up a newspaper at 9p.m., cause around that time the next day´s papers are available...then i´d soak at 12...on the other hand i won´t wear them ´till i passed on the ooe´s, so don´t count on me, but maybe we can do it.

oh, and the 15oz denim on the s710x2nd is the same as on the s0500xx AFAIK

I would have been up for a real midnight-soak but I'm living "am Arsch der Welt" and won't have the possibility to buy a newspaper. Or I drive to the nearest city and buy a "Bild" if the are available then...but I hate "Bild"

    we're getting very OT...and I just noticed 2nd doesn't have the S0500XX in size 33 anymore...damn
