Indeed, loss of starch and excess indigo is inevedible and desireable, nevermind weight. It will be quite consistent. Yes, density would incease. but by the time of soak yardage won't matter.

That would be the only way to screw it up. With your method it won't be be screwed up. If there is any more shrink in them it will be marginal and have no effect. Personally only sized up on LVC they are quite big. Did you order to big size already? 24oz? I have no personal experince at those weights.

No, I haven't order yet. I think the very next step I will do is to get another Levi's STF. and try to shrink it right first. Don't wanna mess up any Samurai or iron heart.. haha.
Last time i got a levi's STF for experiment (so glad i did it), I normally wear 30/32, so I got 32/34. so i put it in very hot water (hot enough that I don't want to put my hand in the water) for 2 hours. and let it dry half way, then wear it until it dry. End up it is very long and and very baggy (i think it just looks like i pooped on my pant). and i actually soaked for the second time, 2 hours and hot hot hot water again, then put in the drier... end up the denim looks fu*k up and STILL baggy. This is why I got my Momotaro sp now!!! try to stay away from soaking before i got the right method!!!

Saw this thread and realized that I should have posted here as this would be a more appropriate thread title.

^you know that the Hagberg is on sale on caliroots? (195€). Looks interesting, the brand was new to me. And I am such a big fan of sweden that I immediately liked it.

@Flash: I like your broad taste in different brands and styles! A very fine selection there :)

@MaxPower: Yeah Fullcount interestes me for a long time. First I was interested in their regular 13,75oz denim but I think I'll be happier with this 15,5oz denim

I think I would really like another pair of heavy jeans. Maybe something in the area of 19-24oz. My black pigs haven't been killing me, even in this heat that has been going on.

I almost wear my momo 0201 everyday for 6 months! Now my new target is Studio D, either 101 or 103, depends on which one has a closer fit to momo 0201

Right, forgot about the OOEs. Get these instead of Skulls. You're not 20 anymore :p

    For my part:
710XX 17 oz or 19 oz (for two years, if I can manage)
