Hi - I have couple of pairs of Lee jeans. 101Z and another pair that I can't remember - maybe Dillon? The 101Z is blue slim fit, and it's pretty heavy and stiff denim, even though it's pre-washed. The other pair are a loose fit, black pre-washed. I like the fits, they're very different to each other of course, but both look good.

Ok people, nice to hear from you

I like Lee jeans a lot too! Like Nudie they have a great fit and looks incredibly good! :D
These days I only wear Lee and Nudies,,,they meake me both satisfied. Its just a bit hrad to wear all jeans at the same time! :p Even if I wish I could, its impossible....

like to wear in my new RR Dry Selvage right now, when Im in the meantime giving the Nudie Treatment to my Freeburn Indigo(Dark Blue) Jeans......

    toszie>
whats your experience of x-line? how do they differ from the original roscoe/freeburn/101´s ???

Shouldnt their be like a site for all Lee Jeans fans? Like MyNudies? where you also can upload pictures of your Lee´s..!? Good idea huu! :D

ok,thanks for the reply..but what about x-line really? on the pictures Ive seen, it looks like the coinpocket for exemple is placed diagonally, not straight as it use to be...well,well doesnt matter..just curious :p ...

Yeah it would be really nice to start like a Lee jeans fan site or something... 8)

The loose fit black Lee jeans I have are from the X-Line. The coin pocket is placed diagonally, as is the centre belt loop at the back. The pockets aren't regular jeans-style pockets, they're slanted, like on a pair of normal trousers. One of the back pockets has the Lee 'Lazy S' in yellow thread and the other pocket has it in black. Also, the top buttonhole of the fly comes through the fly and the fly-covering (if that makes sense?!) - so you have the belt button visible, as on every other pair of jeans, but also the top button of the fly...confused?! Maybe I can get a photo of them sometime and put it in my personal gallery...I just have to borrow a camera!

To point out the obvious, Lee is one of the three "heritage" brands besides Levi's and Wrangler. I do like Lee jeans, although I think one either has a Lee butt or a Levi's butt, and since I rank among the latter category, I've never worn Lee much below the beltline.

The classic item from Lee, for me, is the 101 J. My first denim jacket was one, and so is my current one (or one of them, to be precise), and the many very encouraging comments it got when it shown here on a few pics confirmed that it really is an iconic denim item that goes just great with jeans from other brands as well. I'd love a dry one, and years back, there was one in white denim that I have on my wish list for a long time by now.

Well, Lee is my second love after Levi´s 501xx. I like to wear Lee101Z with white selvedge, worn for a long time and hardly washed. I owe 2 second hand Lee jeans from Ebay in that state, already patched by me. Great!
See pics below. Bought the Lee on the pic for only 2 euros at Ebay.de. It had been worn for 10 years.
