you should never go out withOUT those.
(that´s what i first read and was like :shock: )
were staying in my girlfriends brothers house in al mezhar II, which as far as google map tells me, is quite far back from the coast and into the desert. im probably being a bit over-cautious about the sandstorms like hahaha
johncubus - was there any shops you'd reccomend ? and did you go to kurama market ?
I'd recommend the souks in Deira for local stuff. If you want scarves and such check out the textile souk there. Make sure you bargain. We spent most of our time indoors to avoid the heat so we did a lot of our shopping in Malls. If you like Shisha stop by the cafe in the Wafi Mall in Wafi City (near the airport), the food is excellent as well. Check out the indoor skiing at the Emirates Mall, it was crazy seeing that in person. The areas around the Coast are all tourist traps and extremely pricey so you aren't missing much being far from there.
there's NO way that i'll put those flipflops on my feet when i'm out Atzec
cheers as far as i know the only things that are definately on the plan are going to wild wadi and mt gf wants to go to jumierah beach a few times :S we'll be doing all the mall stuff too. paul van dyk is on at peppermint the night i get there too
got their new album, those that like rock n roll must check it out
and this book
but i need some baggier denims now.
We went to Wild Wadi, it was pretty fun. The reverse water slide was the best. You actually are jet propelled up the slide instead of going down, it was a total trip! The Emirates Mall is about 10 minutes away from Wild Wadi, so you can go snowbaording right after the water slides!
Cool, Paul Van Dyk in Dubai?!?! Actually I'm not too surpised, the club scene is pretty big there. You'll have a great time.
you invest your money wisely loste.
loste is a shoppaholic.
and thats what i admire about him..
just sent payment for a pair of 811´s. finally. (got it for EUR 105 on supermarket )
great price! You'll love them. The fabric is really great. Too bad I don't have time yet, to wear them... :-(
just got this and it was a steal :-D
I finally got around to replacing a pair of Docs that are sixteen years old and no longer fit. Of course, I had to order the new pair online because most Docs are made in China these days and I can only find the Made in England pairs in online shops. The Made in England boots are fifty dollars more expensive, but the quality of the others is so terrible that I think it's worth it.
just blew a ton of $$$.
260+ at BiG for a pair of PBJ xx007.
70 at AA for two v necks and a cardigan.
40 in some shop for a black flag and a bad brains shirt.
im gonna go let this settle in now.
possibly pics once i have it all in hand.
left to right:
thermals from Express
white button up, jeans, t shirt and hoody from American Eagle.
I won't be wearing the jeans for about another month or so, because I still have time on my Nudies yet. They were having a sale at American Eagle though that gave you two movie tickets if you bought a pair of jeans, so I thought why not? I love jeans, I love movies! It's a win win!
no offense, but that hoody, t-shirt and the jeans do not look good and that is being nice about it...
nice, which ones did you get?
post a pic of the old ones! :-D
the shirt, polo, and hoodie are just too crowded! but that's okay you wear AE cuz you live in the states. fair enuff.
