I've got to drive at least 50 kilometers a day, I need a safe, powerful, reliable and roomy car, but not a toy.

could definitely use more of a drop, but the tires are pretty close to rubbing... so yeah, don't mind the ugly wheels and tire setup, as they came with the car. if you want things done right, do them yourself right?

yeah, i'll probably just get some better sized tires on... a bit of stretch would do it... maybe a bit of tire tuck too hehe. but yeah, as long as i have enough rubber to keep this thing tame we're good. i'm running 275's in the rear :)

Sounds good mate!! Yeah main thing for 7s is the stance and what you're riding on, the body work itself is so awesome stock you just don't need to touch it! Haha niiiice!!

I'm trying to source a S13 but its a bitch trying to find one, not to mention what the insurance is going to be like considering its already like £3200~ ish for my golf!!

True mate true, what other work do you have planned?

It's because I'm 18 and the fact that its a 1.9 TDI so the insurers instantly put it up ridiculously!

S15s are pretty rare here, you see the odd R34 though, but I've only seen like 2 S13s on the road! They're almost impossible to find! There's a few S14 Koukis and S15s on ebay over here but most of them have shit mileage on them!

well, i'm leaving it as it is for now. i'm just gonna change up the wheels and tires when i'm ready to do it. not really much has been done to the car, but it's running a standalone, i have the turbos running in parallel w/ boost turned up, upgraded the fuel pump and injectors, aluminum rad, thicker smic, stage 3 clutch, CAI, full 4" exhaust to 5" outlet... great for the car, but not practical for a street driven car. getting rid of it lol. i'm also running some coilovers, obviously.

hehe. imo, you can't really complain of mileage if the car is hard to find in the first place ;)

All sounds good, but why are you getting rid of it all?

Yeah thats true but I'd rather get something that doesn't already have like 110 miles on the clock! Atleast once I do find something I'll still have my golf to drive whilst I'm working on it!

i guess so, but keep in mind of the age of the car. not many platforms are like these cars, so you should appreciate them in whatever state they are in. i'm only getting rid of the exhaust. sorry, that was kinda worded weird lol.

Yeah thats true, and I have an insane ammount of respect for all these classic RWD JDM models, hence why I want to save one myself, but I want to use it and drive it, not hide it away like collectors do with their "classic" cars that no onw gets to appreciate! Ahh kk, thought you were getting rid of everything haha!
