What do you do with your ripped jeans ?

  1. Go on wearing them, unrepaired. Provocation is good!

I'm happy to hear that they can survive for ever.
Just be sure they are never thrown away.
The Jeansmuseum would be ready just in case of any reason you wanna get rid of them in 5 or 10 or more years.
They deserve it to survive for ever for sure after such a long and personal story patched on them

    20 year old Lee Riders

Well, it had happened. Last week I got a present: my friend gave me his old patched Lee after new rips in it. I patched the holes again and am wearing it now. Very happy. The Lee is now covered with more than 50 repairs done by me, the crotch is totally replaced by a new one, more roomy. Weight more than 1200 grams. A beauty to wear outside.
Unfortunately it´s not possible to add some pics. The ´Manage Attachments´ link does not work.

Congrats to your old patched Lee jeans.

When you can manage it at any time to post some pics would be super great

Here is a photo of a crotch repair I done on my brute knuts. No sewing machine. I cut a square from another pair of nudie I had spare and then I used fabric glue to adhere the patch on the inside. Once the glue dried I stitched around the rip with a needle and thread.
