but, if you read into it, there are only 20 pairs of this special contest pair and then the chance is pretty small to get a pair of those.
I guess my only beef is that most of the customers in the flag ship stores who are gaining a chance to win are buying their first Nudie. It's not exactly rewarding the cats like you and me, who own and destroy Nudie jeans. I can honestly say that there isn't really another pair of Nudies I need right now. So, do I miss the comp, or do I buy jeans I don't need?

Isn't it like, you can order from anywhere you like so long as its after july 1st? And if you so happen to buy from an AUS flagship store you are also entered to win a special pair for use in the contest?

Hasn't this already been cleared up before. You take photos of your jeans with their proof of purchase, which has to be after JULY 1st. Buying from the nudie flagship stores seems only to be if you want to win one of the special 20 pairs made for the contest in AUSTRALIA.
^but don´t you have to WIN a pair of the 20 to be in the competition? and buying a pair only gives you the chance to win. that´s how i (and i guess most others) understnad it.
I think thats how it looks in the email zac got but im sure its not the case and is just an aussie thing. I will give the store a call tomorrow if anyone cares for more details. I think the telling signs are in the email when it says they are official competition pairs and gets you instant entry into the wear and tear competition, meaning you don't have to sign up like other people.
that sounds logical, hopefully that's the way it is. I think it's an interesting point that mynudies seems to be the only place the contest is discussed.

guys seriously - think about it. Do you really think nudie is going to make Aussies pay to buy a "chance" to enter? The way I see it - nudie will disclose details pertaining to "buy a jean, enter the contest" also as INCENTIVE we're giving out 20 special edition pairs to people who buy jeans from the flag ship store. Like others have said, this is for promotion really- and what better way to encourage nudie sales - especially at the flag ship store (which I assume sells at full retail , compared to webshops). And of course I am just speculating. But if you all just wait- more concrete details will emerge. Then we can cheer moan and yeah that was done on my iphone while on the bus home~ to add: we don't know the details to OTHER regions/areas/etc. This seems to be for Australia strictly. Yeah Dr.House I know it's all for promotion but I doubt it would be as redicoulous as to "buying a chance" to enter. Nudie probably sees their sales dropping down due to the recession, so what better way to make people buy new pairs (Most of us wear em for AT LEAST 6-12 months , so we're not exactly a high inventory turn over market, haha) !
