Heyhey! Back again after staying dormant for quite a while...Well seems like things have been progressing on this thread, and I can already see some great fades in the making :) I'm gonna join soon when my new Finn org. heavy selvage comes (they're currently out of stock now for my size in AUS but stock will be coming soon!). Is it alright if I change my entry from the JBxmomo 0700SP to the Finns? Lighterweight denim means breathable legs in summer and better smelling jeans...

I found it funny that Nudie calls 13,5oz heavy denim ^^

Worse yet, it's only 13.25 oz. I guess in terms of the selvage line by nudie, 13.25oz and 13.5oz are reckoned to be the heaviest denim used, hence heavy selvage.

    sorry...totally forgot to post here

I was already thinking about washing my Denime 66XX at the start of the new year. After driving through whole Germany (near Bremen-Freiburg and back = roughly 1400 km), partying 3 days in a row with my best friends, one time passing out in them and spilling cranberry sauce on them (thank you McD) on our way back from Freiburg, the decision was made. The first hand wash with detergent!

    Before the wash pics

    And in the wash

They lost more indigo through the wash then I thought they would. So I'm curious how they are turining out...hanging to dry now.

Little update on my APCs, fades are a bit brighter but it was really cloudy when I took these. 2 months and 2 weeks:

Finally took the time to post some pics in this contest. Since the start i started wearing tree pairs: AJ Black Selvage, AJ Dry and a STF Levi's 501. Because i use them to rotate, none of them got extreme wear. But i Think i want to fade the AJBS into a nice faded grey and i want contrast in the 501.

I have to say that the 501's are awesome. I just wanted to wear one again as it is the classic and a very cheap one as well. I did the whole process (wear it in the tub, put it i=on while still damp and wear it to dry, after first wash i did the damp-to-dry wearing again). The result is crazy, they fit like they hug you, with enough room in the 'front'. If you follow the process, this is a pair of jeans that is hard to match fit-wise. And i actually have started to like the model again.

Sorry for the uninspired outfit but i guess this is a Dutch guy's uniform (plaid shirt, Jeans, shirt tucked in jeans). There is a saying in my country: "act normal, normal is mad enough".

I took some pics with the cam of my mac, so no great quality. I'll try and make some pictures of the other pairs later.

Mine are rather at 4 months. Hard to keep track when rotating...
