Interesting fit, you don't see sized up Finns too often around here. Kinda look like Jims almost.

    Nice buy though!

    Update of my loved TFUIC.
    - about 13 months old
    - no wash
    - been used 2-4 times a week
No sun today so difficult to capture the shine on the pics.

I dunno if anybody's found this out already, but Nudie recently came out with the model Max was talking about. It's called Thin Finn Black Coated Indigo. Might be worth checking out as an alternative to the TFUIC.

Here it is in the Nudie webshop: http://shop.nudiejeans.com/system/search/product.asp?id=1989&rnum=0

Hey do you think a hot water bath would shrink these guys down? Only put 3 days of wear so not worried bout too early of a wash. Or should I get them altered be a bit smaller? There's quite a gap in the waist.

^^These could really look similar to TFUIC with time. Except the wax like coating these remind me of overdyed Iron Hearts. MAybe a cool option for UIC-Lovers!

^if you wash, they'll shrink, but you'll also loose the coating. Up to you to decide...

I think they are a prewash..

Nudie didn't put Dry in the name so i'm not certain

Well, I doubt that they're dry (the former model I referred to wasn't either). Of course, you're right, this is a main difference to Iron Hearts. on the other Hand, the overdying process itself works as a wash (hence the IH don't shrink anymore when overdyed, due to the colouring process). Anyway, I guess when the Finns are worn hard, the Black will crack and give way to blue. But this will be a tough job, I assume.

^^ I merely said that it seems like it would be very similar to the TFUIC. That doesn't have the word "dry" in it either...

I've had a look and felt the denim. It's definitely a pre-wash. Very crinkled with artificial creases, like a TFDBC TFUIC hybrid.

Gave em a wash, i'll post an update when they're done drying, just put em on the hanger now. When should I start wearing them?

Just start wearing when you feel like it? :-?

Why did you wash them? Do they fit better now, or still a few sizes too big?

Way too big even after the hot wash? Might need to get the waist tailored to fit you better.

If this is the TFBCI I am sure it is a pre-wash, cause the description said it had a shine and crinkles to it. But I mean some of nudie prewashes do fade with time, my AJ used coated grey faded after one used near my ankles which always rub against eachother.

This is a great jean... I wore mine for about a year then washed. To be honest they were cooler before they were washed. My advice... Never wash these.
