Have been wearing my TFODEE in rotation with other pairs since 7th of September 2012 without any wash or soak.
They have now started to smell a bit, so I'm thinking of either washing or soaking them.
I can't decide wash or soak? Any suggestions of what to do?

    ^ Cool! Any pics?

I think it's totally up to you. If you wash them now, you would probably see stronger fades, but you might lose more indigo than you like. But if you soak them, you might not see as strong as fades, but you will keep a lot of the original indigo.

That said, considering it's your first wash, I don't think either would hurt the jeans.

Here is an indoor pic taken with flash.
I guess the fades would appear stronger if it was with natural light

^ Yeah, I think it's entirely up to you. If it were me, I'd probably go for a soak or a bucket wash. Fit looks good, though!

The thread came loose. Easily fixed or leave it to show the true life of your jeans

I haven't washed or soaked my TFODEE yet.
I got a temporary work over summer at a construction site and I decided to give my TFODEE some more abuse before wash or soak.
Everbody else is wearing construction trousers except I.
I'm rocking my TFODEE :p at the construction site.

They are about 1.5 year old. They have been in rotation with other jeans I have so total wear I guess is about 1 year.
They started to fade more rapidly after I started to wear them working at a construction site this summer.
It was then they got so dirty, but I guess the dirt help the fading process :)

Yeah, I guess it will take a long time if you only wear them at the office. You need to wear them doing other stuff than only office work if you want a faster fading process.

    Fit Check

First post here, finally went out and got a pair of TFOEE. The store only had 32x34 and 30x34 the 32's were a bit loose in the waist and was afraid they would stretch too much. I went with the 30x34 and the waist and thighs are pretty snug. Should I return and order a 31x34 online or break them in and see how much they are going to stretch.

Would it hurt to go up 2 sizes on these thin finns? I own a black pair in a 30 and I just feel like I need more room in my thighs.
