Since I live in Japan and make all my money in yen now, I'm probably going to buy a Red Moon wallet when I get paid at the end of the month - most likely the CW-02A long wallet design, in natural leather. Pure sexiness. Living in Japan, I use cash and change constantly (compared to the credit-and-debit world of America) and I hate that my current wallet has no coin pocket and chews up my bills. Plus Red Moon's stuff is incredibly sexy - ought to look good with my Grim Tims and Red Wings!

I'll probably buy it from 2nd. I got the steel Red Moon chain from them a month ago, they were fast and sent a really nice letter (in Japanese) along with it. Great place to buy. May eventually get a key case too, though it's a little hard to justify when I only have my car + house keys! Wish I knew a site with lots of pics of nicely-worn natural RM wallets. I love that MHS one the guy from Cultizm wears in all those pictures.

Honestly, I agree with you, even tho we have discussed about some designs, cold summer :)

It is only logical to get a RM when your are in Japan instead of buying wallet from elsewhere. Because I'm obbigood, doesn't mean i do not support other leather makers :) It is the best interest my friends here will get (depending on his/her scenerio) that is important to me, as James, a member of this community. Not because I'm the owner of Obbi Good Label.

Looking forward for your great purchase and please feel free to ask me if you have got any questions about leathers :)

Thanks! Don't worry though, I'll be buying plenty of OGL stuff in the future. One of those key pouches or some bracelets are on my list. And I am enjoying that belt even more every day ;)

I loved the OGL Jane wallet I got last year, but it was too small for me. I gave it to my best friend and he absolutely loves it! If he ever gives me some wear pics, I'll post 'em up here.

Obbigood wallet, rein and belt. 3 months old. Oiled several times and been laying in the sun for 3 hours altogether.

Both look BEAUTIFUL! I'd think about tanning some of my stuff, but unfortunately I don't have a backyard or patio or anywhere that I could do it.

you know to stop the concho from coming through the back pockets I remember seeing people use iron-on denim patches on the inside of the pocket to help with durability. Could be useful.

I like the patchwork, and my backpocket would definitely need it!

But is it hard to do myself or should I leave that to a tailor?

Huh, I always like the look of a pocket hole ripped by a concho. Looks cool on Critic's jeans anyway. I'd leave it.

Question: Last week I had my wallet sitting out in the open for some sun tanning. While I was at work, some rain fell (I swear, it was sunny when I left!) and my wallet caught a few drops. It's fine, but is there a way to get the marks from rain drops out of veg tan leather? Does oiling it make it go away? It's not going to kill me if it can't be helped, but I thought I'd ask.

I'm also interested in that queastion. My Terry belt also has some water spots (pulling jeans on with freshly washed fingers). Oiling doesn't help so far

^This has happened to me too, but I didn't try to get rid of it. Over time, as my belt aged, the stain became less and less prominent to the point where it's hardly noticeable anymore. Same has happened to my bracelet and my wallet.
