Mr. Fairylicks had the wonderful idea, that we both could battle us on the Evo of my 877 and his 879. We'll try to do monthly updates and keep you updated on how we use and abuse these boots and where we take them.

I'm looking forward to see the difference between the oro-iginal and the rough out leather and to do that project with fairylicks.

So, I'm starting with my 877, size 10,5, first worn the 8. January 2011.

These two pics are with the PB 1955 Engineer Pant.

...and these three with my 0201.

Two accidential shots, that are still good enough too show these boots:

On the first day of wear I took my boots to the baltic sea. Not a bad start and they already felt much more comfortable than my Iron Rangers. On Ice the were a bit more slippery, so I hope for a continuing mild weather.[IMG]

Now keep it coming, Felix ;-)

Cool to see some up-to-date red wing evo stuff. I could also participate (but maybe not to this thread) as my first Red Wings are currently somewhere between Sweden and Finland (if they're the right size). They are 8140's so a bit different in colour and of course not the ultimate classic "87x" model.

Sick. Looking forward to seeing how you guys wear your RWs. I have a month old pair of 9111s but I feel like I may be babying them way too much. It'd be great to see how you guys take to em over time.

Thank you! I think they could work for you as well, but maybe you might try the Engineer boots. These are perfect for girls IMO.

But as long as you don't have such large feet as I do, you won't look like a clown.

P.S. I'll try to take some new pics this weekend. What about you, Felix?

Here's what my 877 do and look like after 3 weeks. They're so comfy and warm, perfect for these nasty conditions.

well, the 634 don't bleed much, barely at all (the boots are just a bit darker on the laceholes). And I wear my Momos cuffed and it didn't rain lately, so no indigo stains.

^hmmmmm...634 should bleed as much as the 666Sod do shouldn't they?
but maybe it's also a fact that my 9162 are suede which could cause more friction between denim and boot?!...
