    Thanks.
actually, I'm to be pittied not envied! It is sad that I have around 40 pairs and still thinking about getting more. Of the 40 pairs I have 30 that are relevant and 10 of these are one size up in case I get fat and old. So, I have 20 pairs to rotate and not enough legs and time. On top of this I don't lead an very demanding lifestyle to fade them fast.
    just sad...

Well, it is what keeps me from buying more pairs than I can wear. I have only 5 pairs that I want to break in. But then, it depends on what you like - if you're more of a fabric and craft lover, it makes sense to have that many pairs. Not if you want to wear & fade them. But I consider you lucky anyway!

The TFH is also the only one with a AI and synthetic indigo mix.

The color variation on the SC is amazing. Looks like someone spilled bleach on it ;-)
    But I love the SC!

Funny, when I was contemplating which AI to wear today I decided against SC because the variation makes it look too crazy...
    went with the Samuarai instead...

fab-u-laz FOXY! i have been getting seller's remorse for parting with my SC 40400N. i was just so overwhelmed & frustrated @the time.... like feeling i spent so much on stuff that were just folded away & won't even see a decent break in for a long time. by default, i am a user like MP, not a collector.

since it takes serious commitment & time to properly break in a pair of nats, i've set a moratorium on future acquisitions. i will only acquire another pair of nats once i am done with the last/current one.

i'm thinking maybe the next prod'n of Oni Shoai, Kapital Zipang,SC 40200N, or 45RPM Fujimon [if i come across a pair i can afford :-(]

Thanks - I can feel your pain regarding seller's remorse.
If it gets too bad - I have a soaked spare pair in W32 in my closet. Not that I want to add further fuel to...

Oni Shoai and SC40200N are on my want-list, too.
Maybe a trip to NY and a visit at Blue can cure my curiosity regarding Oni.
45RPM and Kapital I would need to see and touch first.
Red Cloud has an AI model out as well. That might be my next purchase, who knows...

It really has a lot of variation! They came one-washed, right? The left leg looks like it as typical washing marks

Unwashed, I did a machine wash at medium spin w/o detergents in order to get most of the shrinkage out of the way. The washing marks should disappear soon...

Question: how's the sizing for these compared to a standard Samurai W33 or a regular S5000VX 17oz.? - What is your standard Samurai size?

i'm usually [normal] W33 = TTS on most Sams
... 'tho i do size down on some models [ie, depending on denim used] to get a slimmer fit, when i want to.

these particular ai model was not the typical Samurai issue ... they shrink below tagged [ie, cut was slimmer + denim shrank a ton]. i actually fcuked up the sizing by going TTS @33. fortunately, i got heads-up a from a couple SuFu-ers with regards to the denim behavior/shrinkage issues before my initial soak. hence, i "manipulated" the break in process accordingly.

So, if my normal Samurai size is W32 I would need to find a pair in W33 or W34 - or I'll stretch 'dem...

That is if I find a pair!

    friggin check!!!

    Fujimon - Nora x Charcoal O/W [10th Anniversary: r by 45RPM]:: TTS @W33 :: the cut silhouette is comparable to a model 1953, eg, Fullcount 0105 with a mid-rise.

Fujimon utilized hand-picked Suvin; an extra long staple cotton known to be the finest in the world. Naturally dyed in Aizome followed by the addition of a natural charcoal dye. It has an increased bumpy and handmade texture made by working the shuttle loom even slower than with the new Jomon.

    Current measurements: w= 33.5, ins= 32, f/r= 10.5, b/r= 15.5, u/t= 12.5, kne= 9.5, l/o= 8.5
