Above is a quote from a different topic. Just wanted to mention it here in the Baggy Björn category since it's such a different denim.

actually I never noticed a difference between right and left hand denim. all lee jeans are made from left hand denim imho and I never really noticed a difference.

Right hand denim: Original weaving construction in which the twill line rises diagonally to the right.

Left hand denim: The twill line rises diagonally to the left. The main difference to the right hand denim is a softer hand. This was originally used by Lee.

source: The naked truth about denim.

It's a technical thing. Don't know if Lee still uses this technique. Maybe you don't notice the softer hand if your jeans is pre-washed. But i felt the difference between a right hand dry and a left hand.

There is a difference, but you have to have a very good eye. Go to the www.lee.be (it should be the German site, I don't know where it is on the other country sites) site > Finde Deine Lee (find your lee) > Denim Guide > Material.
There you can see how left and right hand denim differ in the optic.

of course you can see a difference as these are 2 different kind of denims (as my greycast looks different from my selvage), but not 2 left/right hand denims.

that is also because the veggie was "painted" vertically if you watch good you can see the paint swipes from thje top to the bottem that effect gives kinda strange effect but you're also right there is'nt much of an diffrence!!

The difference isn't very much visible. They're both very dark blue. It's more the way they feel. BB is way more soft, but not as soft as BO. More stiff as RRDS. Soft like if there's some oil on it or something like that:)

Smooth... that's the wordt. Stiff but smooth...
