I'm bumping this thread because I think it has been forgoten. I will post some post wash pics within the week.
time for the big 6.. washed mine at 60 deg. little washing powder, hang dried. before wash dried and ready for another 6 months beating..
nice!! ahh. i hope mine start fitting that well soon. in fact, i think i'll go for another wash this weekend. i made a halfass promise to myself that i'd wash them whenever they get all blown out and stop fitting me well.
thanx enojy, the wash did make it fit better, a bit snug at the waist, but can feel it stretching now, plus the denim just got rougher after the wash, lovin it
Did they shrink much Nudiefive? I'm thinking about hot washing mine for a tighter fit. But I really wanna do 1 year no wash.
they shrunk just a bit Dom, just few cm differences..im getting tired of wearing my skulls actually..looking at my other denims just sitting there in the closet :-(
Yeah to be honest, im pretty over it already. I really want to wear some black jeans now for some reason. I think im sick of seeing blue jeans on my legs for the past 2 years.
haha yeah go for it! maybe ill give em love for another 3-4 months with frequent hot wash, then ill start wearing either DJs or SGFs, however i love how skulls fit. ill miss it for sure
nudiefive , cameland. Your guys skulls are looking great, don't give up now! Go the whole 1 yearrr!. Also i'm sure you know this but if you want some black jeans and love the 5010 fit, you could always get the black 5010xx.
I wouldn't wait a year, it's not good for the denim. Also the indigo reacts well with water, so after a wash they start fading faster. WHO THE HELL AM I TELLING THIS TO!?!?!
lol thats quite hilarious haha. I washed too many jeans early and have regretted it. So I may as well take a chance here.
hey guys, gave mine a proper wash just because i had to take em to fabfour repair certain places like so took hot shower w it, then the washing machine took it to fabfour, the guys did it perfectly in only 30min new chainstitch (free) undone the pocket stitching, then stitched it back with some reinforcement and some extra stitchings like this one
