I just fell in love with Easy Emil Organic Navy from Cultizm.com and they are just soooo wonderful.

To begin with, I got the Easy Emil because I was getting a bit tired of the slim and bootcuts. I needed something new. The Easy Emil is a pair of jeans you want to pull on whenever you're just hanging out. They are roomy and comfortable without being baggy.

Sizing, I read on Cultizm's website that the sizes above run 2 sizes big. I found it to be true. I'm usually a size W32 these days and could have fit a size W30 in the Easy Emil. However, being conservative I decided to get W31, which turned out to be a bit big. I gave it the hot wash and hot dryer treatment, which shrunk them down to the fit I wanted.

All I can say is that these are lovely comfortable jeans. The denim is nice and light now for the summer. The price at Cultizm is really good too.

Cheers! Now I'm off to a Bon Dance in my Easy Emil. :-D

Hopefully, I can post some pics in the coming days.

Hey, I picked up a pair of these at the Barney's Warehouse sale in LA. I love the fit. Nice and casual. Some room, but not too much.

BEWARE of the sizing! I usually wear around size 36 in my waist, but I fit in to size 32(!) in the Emil, and there's still a little room. SIZE WAY DOWN.

Tried again this fit in Old Broken and Heavy Blue in one size bigger than the last time, since they just fit like an joe or steven to me. Tried the same size I wear my Svens, but the Emil is a very strange cut. It was still a bit tapered down the knee to me, but very loose on top. Definately not my cup of tea, I think... Pretty carrot-fit like. Strange indeed! And again: WHEN do we get a REAL new loose cut from Nudie..?!?! Even the Freddy is strange, due to its 50s style-cut...

Hey guys just a quick question about these EE's, I've never worn Nudie Jeans before and I want to order 2 pairs online and wanted to try and make sure I get the right size first time round. The 2 pairs I plan to order are the 'Blue Fall' and 'Dry Organic', I'm 34 waist and 32 leg, anyone with similar measurements can give me a hand, that be cool.

    Cheers
    Tony

well.. I have 34/32 in Straigh Sven and Average Joe, both by Nudie. Everyone said to me, I should buy the EE one size smaller, due to its loose fit.. In one size smaller the EE were so small/slim down the knee, I could not get my legs through! Worn true to size it just looks completly weird to me! Slim down the knee but very oversized on top. Strange... The Blue Fall wash was okay, but the wash Heavy Blue and Old Broken were completly unwearable for me! Sometimes the cut varies a little due to some pre-washes and the needed washing process, maybe.

To me this EE is an AJ just with a looser top! If not even slimmer down the knee too...

To me the Baggy Björn or the Straight Sven were absolutely perfect! All the newer cuts are strange... I had hope in EE and FF (Fast Freddy), but even the FF is a bit strange, because its a pretty high waisted jean.

Thanks for reply smoedi, funnily enough I was looking at both EE's + AJ's, but the EE's looked nicer shape in the photos on ASOS.com. I guess I could order pair from each style and just return the ones I don't like, I was just trying to avoid the hassle of is all.

Easy Emil are sort of tailored to a certain body type, and you have to size way down in them, like 3-4 sizes. TTS is really baggy in some places but not in others, and just doesn't look or fit right to me. I'd say experiment in store if you can before you order any Emils online.

Oh, and I've got some fit pics up too

Hey guys! I send an email to Nudie to ask them a question about the EE sizing compared to the AJ. I wear a waist 32" of the Average Joe model and they advised me to get a 31" waist for the Easy Emil. This advice is different compared to some of the posts here in which some are saying to size down 2 sizes or even more. I'm a bit confused now. Anyone can help me out which size to choose? Thank you in advance!!

P.S. I know trying would be the best solution, but I can't find the EE model anywhere. I probably going to order some via the Nudie site.

I guess it depends on how you like to wear them and if you will eventually put them in the dryer. Because of the humidity where I live I have to put my jeans in the dryer which shrinks them a bit. I'm usually a 32 nowadays but my Easy Emil are 31.

Mattias, thanks for your reply! Appreciate it! A love the fit of AJ and I do know that the EE is looser compared to AJ, based on the stories here online my thoughts about the EE model is a fit similar to the AJ but a little bit looser? Hope I'm thinking right, correct me if I'm wrong! :)

I do not have a dryer so I can't shrink them. Having said that is it for me perhaps logical to size down 2 sizes and go for the 30" waist instead? Also I was wondering how does this 31" fit with you? Is it loose are really baggy? Looking forward to your reply!

You should size down 2 if you want a slim straight fit. I got me an 31 in EEDNO and it stretched a lot. I would have been better off with a 30. I wear/wore a 32 in AJ for an similar fit, even 33 in an prewashed AJ.

The leg openings are similar, but the Joes have a shorter yoke. This makes the Emils look baggier even when you size down - the pockets will sit lower.

Thanks Max for your advice and additional info! I think I'm going for a 30" waist then. If it really does not fit right I can always return it. :)

Yes, if you want the slimmer fit you should size down 2 as Max says. I wanted something looser which sizing down 1 was good for me. Mine was a little loose in the beginning but now I've gained a little weight so they fit me perfect. I love my Emils. To me, they have a classic fit....reminds me a little of my Levis I used to wear as a kid. :)
