i'm would like to buy a pair of even stevens "ecru coated black". i read in several post's that even stevens stretch pretty much by wearing them. does that only happen with dry nudies or also with pre-washed nudies? i don't really know what size i should buy them. normaly i do have a 31/32 in waist and a 34 in length and i don't want them to look baggy... so does anybody have some advise for me? would be great ;-)

    cheers!

All denim stretches, but pre-washes don't stretch as much. Generally pre-washes are a size smaller compared to dry ones.

Even steven has a baggy top, so if you don't want your new nudies to look baggy, better think about another cut. Slim Jim has a black black coated.

You think the nudie fitguide wears the ES tight? I thought they looked sized up.

i'm looking to buy a pair of esdo soon. i'm wondering what size i should get. i can fit perfectly into a size 30 in slim jim dry; i might be able to squeeze into a 29, but it would be uncomfortable.
since even stevens stretch a lot, i don't want it to be too loose after a while. would i fit into a 29, or should i just get a size 30? i'm afraid that i'll buy a pair and then not be able to button them up all the way.

Size down one from your prewash. A 34 lenght is best imo because of shrinkage, I have a 32 lenght Raf wich i wish was a 34, it shrank too much when i washed it. And you need to wash your jeans sometime, they will get dirty and stink with time. and it is good for the helth of the cotton to get a wash too.

But i depends on how long you are. If you are very short, a 32 inseam will be enough, if you are not short get a 34. Also depends on how you want the jeans to sit on your legs. If you want staking or not and so on.

I sized down, the bottom tapers quite a bit, so it depends on what kind of look you're going for.

I'm wearing a 29 in my pictures in the photo section, you should check it out.

Same sizes in SJ and TF, I wear 30 in ESOD. But be warned the ESOD are meant to fit baggy/loose from the knee upwards.

I'm gonna buy a pair of Even Stevens as well, and also want to know about sizing. I'm not sure about my true waist size because I usually wear my jeans on the baggy side, but now I'm starting to wear my jeans tight. At the moment, my raw GAP Morrisons are 34, but the waist is pretty big. I tried on a pair of Average Joe's in size 33, and they were pretty tight, but I might be able to squeeze into a 32. I want to get my jeans as tight as I can, so should I buy them as tight as I can while being able to button them to the top? I heard some people buy them so that they can only button them to the second button, and the jeans will stretch. Also, I heard something about being able to put 1 finger in your pants. Can anyone tell me how that works? Thanks.
