Wonder why I took so long to find this thread when I have been lurking here for quite a while.. Alright am totally new to raw denim. In fact, I only started wearing one like 3 weeks ago. It is a Nudie SSK. I wore it almost everyday for 10 to 12 hours each day for the first 3 weeks until my colleagues started to comment why I am not wearing our own brand of denim (okay I work in a denim store)... got the hint and so I am back to wearing my uniform but will still slip on my SKK to sleep once in a while. So looking at the frequency of wear I would reckon it will take me ages to break it in. Oh did I say I also bought a pair of TF organic? with the contrast wave stitching at pockets? I sold it off after a few days cos the colour was pretty close to my SKK... now am thinking of the TFBC but am wondering if the shine will still be there after a few washes? Well, that's all about my "dry" experience.. Must say you guys know sooo much and it has been a great learning curve for me! Cheers!
Hey Josh, Nothing raw.. they are the typical washed types.. totally mainstream but definitely one of the top few popular brands  lol!
by taxi ... lol. you can always go to chinatown by train, but i forget which station you gotta go. however, you still have to walk a bit more when you get there to ann siang rd (or by taxi).
It's about a 15 to 20 minutes ride and 30 to 40 minutes if you are travelling by train (excluding walking). Anyway, what are you doing here in Singapore anyway?
Hot as usual, the occassional "sudden" rain (the sun could be bright and shining for a minute, the next thing you know, it started to rain heavily for an hour or 2 then the sun comes out shining brightly again). Since you are doing business, then I think you business partners can show you around. But I don't think there's much to show though, Singapore is small. Anything more than 3 days will seem boring to most.
heads uppp.. went to arc at esplanade. they were having sale 40% off for kmw, fullcount, and omnigod. i saw fullcount natural indigo jeans in size 32, the other things i couldnt remember =/
Seriously, Singapore's stores have very limited denim labels. We need more of them here. Lucky there's the World Wide Web.
