I am fuming mad. My connie was getting a bit grimy so I decided to take it to get drycleaned, so as not to ruin the fact that it is DRY, BLACK, COATED. The bastards washed it instead and now it is neither DRY, nor COATED, just BLACK. I am pissed and wondering if there is a way to make it look "coated" again, cause right now there is no wonderful shininess that it once had.

I don't think there is a way to re-coat because it's originally done through the making of the denim fabric, don't quote me on that though.
Good news, after only one wash the coating/wax should not be completely gone. You'd have to start from square one again and put all that wear into the jacket. This will eventually bring back some lustre into the denim.
Unfortunately there is bad news, your connie will never reach the same amount of "shine" as it once did pre-wash.
