    Hi,

I hope this is the right thread for the question I have, if not please move it to the right place.

I'm thinking about getting a pair of Tricker's boots. I have been wearing a pair of MoMas the last two years and while I still love how they look, they're kinda falling apart now. I would be content with buying another pair of those, but since I can't find any good deals and don't feel like spending €300 for what they are, I thought about putting a few more bucks on the line and getting something really up there in quality and construction.

    So, Tricker's came to mind.

Unfortunately, I probably won't have the opportunity to try them on and therefore need to gather some information before pulling the Tricker, err trigger on those. The only model I saw that really speaks to me (as I don't like the Brogue perforation) is the Burford:

Is anyone familiar with this model? How versatile are they? I'm searching for something that's rugged enough to wear with jeans but doesn't look completely out of place in a more refined outfit with dress pants or similar. I mostly wear slim pants, denim or otherwise.

Also, about the size...I have absolutels no idea how these fit. The best reference I can give is that I wear 43 (UK 9,5) in Converse Chucks. Is there some general rule of thumb how Tricker's boots run or has someone even handled the model I'm after?

Any information would be greatly appreciated...thanks in advance.
