If you like boots like that, you should check out redwing's website. There's just about every style of boot there that you could want. I'm also a big fan of Magnum boots (anything over $90 or so is fantastic).

Those boots look really cool. Where can you get them?

    Bill,

    They are an Australian brand.

Ive seen them in a store but havent had a chance to try them on yet, I do know that they are pretty pricey.

I like the redwings the best, but honestly, shopping for boots in person is really so much better. After no luck with the internet for so long I finally found a pair of boots i really really liked.

You think they will? I'm hoping they'll get a bit darker with wear and rain.

Hahaha, so your brother had a pair of boots like mine except they were laceup combat boots... but those are opposites

Yeah, i think i'm going to take them to a boot specialist to get them waterproofed/ ask him about how i should polish them

    Veja Eco Sneakers.

Not easy to find, I guess. But they look really great with slim fit jeans.

I've got two pairs (white/green and black/purple/white) and I absolutely adore them.

They run quite large, I think the general rule of thumb is to size down 1 from your US size.

I don't think it would look bad. Plus over time they'll get a lot darker.

(I like the other style boot skull makes better though, the one without laces.)

If you have a belt to match, then I seen no problem with either. Just please, don't wear them with jeans so skinny that you have to tuck the jeans into the boots. That always looks completely stupid.

I love those skull boots, but I would get the black ones, for natural colored leather, go redwings

any ideas on boots for winter? i need something nice and warm since i walk quite a bit. just about lost some toe nails last week walking in vans and have decided to try and find some but havent been able to find anything that doesnt look like and feel like a ski boot that would still be warm enough for the weather here.

I'm a fan of Magnum boots. They're immensely comfortable and very warm for winter. If you do think of getting some, it's a brand where more money definitely equals a better shoe. They're available on www.shoebuy.com if you're interested.

The right boots to match the denim is quite important also. i.e. don't pair American western boots with supe slim fit jeans. Don't pair Beatle Boots with boot cut jeans. As for sneakers, you can customize your own nikes at nike.com and create some super cool shoes. There is also a rockin' brand that is called Medium. Look them up on zappos. They make super cool chuck taylor-ish shoes and also cooler looking New Balance style suede sneakers. I'm an ALDO man, myself, but alot of people hate on the quality. Haven't had a problem, myself, but, ultimately, they aren't 500 dollar boots so you can't expect them to last a lifetime. Kenneth Cole Reaction and Lacoste make excellent sneakers, also. Some may call me a serious chav for that but, whatever. Anyhow, that's what I've got.
