I really love these Danners. But I will go for RW2940s as next pair, I think.

Stacy Adams boots, black. I really like them but I have others that I am wearing so I've decided to sell these. Check them out on ebay if anyone is interested. Size 8.5
I do like the cream color ones as well!

Does anyone have any suggestions for some cheap boots suited to what may be a snowy/icy winter? Going to be in NY for nearly 2 weeks and all my shoes/boots have leather soles or similar (or DB with that crepe sole). Don't really want to slip over, bust my ass and then get to deal with the US's world renowned health-care system ('/s' just to be sure).

More than happy to go 2nd hand or something... Really don't want to spend too much.

Thanks for the link to the forum hollabia! I somehow lost it before. Judging from the pics there, the USMC boondocker would be really great! But unfortunately they aren't available and can only be pre-ordered

^Hey T, you know any other alternatives to boondocker and where to get them? I saw a couple around here, but dont remember who has them..
Some of them run as RW size wise, right?

The boondocker is rather 'unique' and I haven't found many similar boots. But the M43 Rought Out Service Shoes/Boots are quite similar looking.

You can get those for around 80 € and of course for more ;-)

    I have these already:
    http://www.troph-e-shop.com/de/us-kampfschuhe-rauhleder-17375.html

But there are many different shops who offer them and this is my dream pair:
    www.mash-japan.co.jp/oversea/eng_moc/collection/m-43_service_shoes/index_eng.html

Also Buzz Rickson has a very similar one or Toys McCoys a special Steve McQueen version

But also the ones from WWIIimpression are good quality, goodyear welted and made in the US

and then there are some from At the Front or What Price Glory...or something like that :-D

I don't have actual pics. But I dubbed them. I wear US 9,5 in RW. And the M43 are 43/275.

That's also my RW size, thanks for the info. I like the ones with rivets on it, as your dream pair has. Also the Buzz Rickson's are in the same price range.
Is there a big difference to justify the €300 extra or you can get along with the €89 ones..?
    Diggin' this ones:

Can't say if they are worth it. My pair from E-Trophy were cheaper back then when I ordered.
If you check the post from hollabia, there is a link to another forum where they talk about those boots and the quality.

Yeah, i've red that review. Wondering if the e-trophy ones are similar in quality to the WWII Impressions.

I'd say e-trophy is below. Dunno where they are made but it isn't available to see. I could ask the shop. But my pair has the rivet. and the WWIIimpressions will also have a rivet with the next run. From the pics they look better made than the pair I have and the leather on my pair isn't equaly nice on all parts of the boot
