I'd been wanting a particular pair of Sams for the past couple of years, and the heavyweight contest pushed me over the edge... 4000VX 21oz. Ordered from 2nd, and I was quite impressed. From a Japanese store to an American door in 3 days. Stunning. Now I can't wait for the contest to start.

I'll refrain from additional pics as there's nothing to show with a new pair. However, I will hopefully put up some pics of my 24oz LHT 510 before long as they've crossed the 9 month mark and recently had an ocean wash on the shores of the Bahamas.

Yeah, I've just really been feeling the boot cuts for the past year or so, and only had the lvc 646, which is lighter than I'd prefer, and feels a bit odd at times with being a poly-blend. I'll be sure to post more pics when I have them since I've never seen anyone on any forum with this cut.

Awaiting the heavy weight competition on SuFu, here are pre- and post-soak fit pics of the 4000VX 21oz.

I had them hemmed before shipping, and I think the length came out just about perfect.

Indeed, the length looks just right. I am amazed how much shrinkage they seem to have.

Me too. They are definitely the snuggest jeans I've started wearing. After having them on for a while I no longer feel like they're going to crush me when I sit down.

The inseam went from 35 down to about 32, which is exactly what I was hoping for.

Looks great - have ordered the 17oz. version for a friend recently - he loves the cut.

Cool jeans. I love 2ND. Their website looks like it's straight out of 1997 but they have the best selection of Samurai and Flat Head stuff pretty much anywhere, and orders usually arrive 24-36 hours after ordering. Nice to hear they ship quickly outside of Japan, too.

Yep. i've ordered 3 times, they are great guys (though their stuff got caught in customs every single time).

Yeah, customs is a big buzz killer in Germany.

wasn't feeling the wide-straddled back pockets, so i re-positioned them.
IMO, the 1" diagonal tweak towards the center+down made quite an impact on the aesthetic fit.

Does anyone know if it's still possible to get your hands on a s710xx lot 11? I can only find the newer ones which is pretty obvious cause some stores still have them in stock

I just put up a new pair of S5000VX size 36 on ebay if anyone is interested. I hot soaked them but never wore them. I got the wrong size on the advice of the guys at BiG. I won't post a link since it's probably against the rules. Hot soaked down to 34 waist and chainstitched and soaked down to a 32.5 inch inseam.

On Tuesday night the 14th of January around 3 to 5 AM, DC4 has been robbed. Most of the items in our store at the Torstrasse have been taken. The police are currently investigating the case.

    Important: DC4 stamp
All the jeans from our store have been stamped 'DC4 Berlin' on one of the inner pockets. If you come across a brand new pair of jeans with this stamp, get in contact with us as soon as possible! Please keep an eye out for any of the goods that might come from our store. Many brands are hardly available outside of Japan, like Toys McCoy and Samurai Jeans.

Help us find stolen items and get a reward!
Do you spot a stolen product on websites like eBay or on a forum? Send the link to contact[at]dc4.de and you'll receive a FREE pair of jeans, and a discount on your next 3 orders.

Don't place online orders until further notice
Naturally, this means that orders placed online cannot be processed right now, we hope for your understanding. The shop will be closed until further notice. We're shocked and outraged about the whole event and can't wait for the criminals to be put to justice.

Please share, any info through me or DC4 contact. Thanks!
