Yo people, small question/s. It is true that the Samurai Type III sleeves fits short? So short that would justify size up? Strongly considering to get one.

I'd like to buy a new pair of jeans and absolutely love my s710xx. They're perfect other than the fact that I sized down and long boarding has taken its toll on the crotch.. I almost want another pair of s710xx but tts.

Would anyone recommend something similar to the style? Possibly a different brand?

TBH I haven't found a comparable pair so far. The cut and denim is best IMO. You could try the S0500 for a slightly looser cut though. Or just size up on he 710.

Totally agree with you on that one. I might just have to grab the 710s again haha. From all the searching I've done, I haven't found anything else I really like :/

Then I can get my old ones repaired and then I'll have a pair to really trash up/use as work jeans :)

In the mean time I will keep browsing fit pics; there has to be another nice slim cut out there..

I find it interesting that while they're a looser fit, I can see the pocket bags in front, and the pocket lining in the back.

Thanks. I've washed them 4 times thus far. The only repairs have been reinforcing the stitching in the crotch and a little on the back pockets.

Washed my s710xx's last night and the washer 'ruined' them. It made it all blotchy and left a diagonal line on the front >=[ and to top it off the dirt didn't really come out ergh. I give them a hand wash pretty much every 2nd week though so it should blend fairly quick.

    pretty irked about that

Warp is not dyed to the core - should fade with wear...

damn..those measuremtns sound rather big for a size 32. I would expect those measurements on a regular size 34 on a 5000-cut (maybe the waist a bit bigger for the size 34).
and they are really dark black, not like the 5000bk. still not sure if I like the stitching color.

I guess it all depends on how and where you measure.
So far size W32 seem to always work for me with Samurai denim pants - their Chinos not so much...
Let's see what they measure after the first soak.

S5000BK have an un-dyed weft and therefore look lighter, should fade faster.

I know that they have an undyed weft :p but as a lot of weft is shining through, they apear to be more grey than black. and of course they would fade faster than.

I think we both use the BiG-method so our measurements shouldn't differ too much.
