    @Foxy:

so I got an answer regarding the cotton used for the denim. Here it is:

"Please note that we mixed cottons from different counrties for our denim cloth, but mostly American.

The denim of S0110XJ-II is different from the previous but we are not able to tell the details of the cotton mixing.
    "

    Thanks BF!

Not revealing much there, but at least a reply. I would have thought that they are much more involved with these details.

I remember seeing pictures of cotton fields on their blog - probably in the context of their effort of using organic cotton. If they would say that they don't know where that cotton is from it wouldn't be organic, right?

I'm pretty positive it is not organic. Except for the jeans were it is mentioned explicitly (for the OGSP).
I also saw those pictures and I think it's more like a little project rather than really source their own cotton but I'm not sure. The field doesn't look that big but I don't know how much cotton you could harvest from that shown area. But I'm sure it's not enough to produce lots of denim.

My half-assed replacement for the non-fitting 888. I will bite the bullet with this utmost mediocre pair.

I am still surprised how thick and stiff these are. Cant wait to put them on.

    Post soak measurements:
    w: 83-84 cm
    i: 91 cm
    h: 23 cm

Still looks very wide to me, but as I wanted a relaxed cut I love that. Also that I won't need cuffs.

Looks pretty good Max. I think the 710s looked best on you but you have a body type that works well for lots of jeans (unlike a skinny dude like me.)

What was wrong with the Eternals? Too loose in the behind?

Thanks, I'm honoured. Don't get me wrong though, the w34 Eternals are my summer pair that I wear right now. The w33 was sent back and exchanged to the Samurai, as I had no option to get a refund. And yes, i also think the 710 had the best fit so far. But wait till I break this one in

It's already breaking in. I think the fit will be fine. Still, I am a bit bummed that the hem is 23cm postsoak, not 22,5 cm presoak as stated on BiG.

Yeah, like I said - if the 710 came out in different denims (besides the latest sepcials) I'd get them. Keep in mind, that a 21 oz fresh soaked pair will never fit good. I just think of my 0905SP whose fit I hated the first months.

Exactly...it's always hard to jufge a fit after a couple of hours..give it a week or two and then we can talk.
You wear the 888 now to the office?

Yes, exactly. 14,5 oz make a good summer jeans. As summer is only here till the weekend I am confident to wear the Sammies the whole weekend. I did not intend to do so, but the denim is just too yummy. And I love how fast they keep the creases in.
