Next season the Regular Ralf will be known as the Regular Alf. This name change is due to a trademark dispute with another company. The style/design will remain the same.
I don't see the need of copping a Ralf just to still have a 'Ralf' I mean, Ralf or Alf, it's the same jeans...
my god that is naive, it's not because they cut the R of the name, the ones with the R are gonna be unique...
i was actually half-serious half-kidding about my post. i'm addicted to my RRDGs right now, so even if i had money i have no time for another pair. even at that, i'm looking to get a BO or a SJDJ/DB for my next pair :wink:

I don't have the specifics of the issue and I don't really want to dig it up but apparently the dispute was regarding the name Ralph/Ralf, no matter how you spell it. I don't like to speculate but I'm sure Nudie could have won the dispute if they went to court. However, if the dispute concerns an American company it is probably wiser to stay out of it since the legal costs alone can break your bank. Removing the 'R' was probably the easiest way to avoid any conflict or lawsuits. If you say Regular Alf fast it still sounds the same.
they still fit the same (most likely... if not that would be funny!) the name change can't be that bad. although RR has a nicer ring to it than RA... :lol:
