depends on what jeans and what boot you got. superskinny in boot does work. never tuck...
The ALD is the Novelty, the most baggy jeans from the brand. Wearing those, and the days that I dont, I wear the Edwin ED-47 rainbow selvage.
why the hell would you tuck those into your redwings? for christsake, I think nothing is worse then jeans tucked into boots, especially novelty pants or an other baggy modell...
you ain't no rapper, don't try to be son
oh man, those are so sweet!! i want to buy those too! how much did you pay for them, if i may ask?
just got these at clever-id rw 8815's.. horween leather...
Lood good, don't they? Enjoy!
What's Horween leather?
Hehe, too much Almost everywhere in Amsterdam it's the same price: 269, don't know about online/other towns. And yeah, they are definatly worth the price ;-)
Tucked is a no-no for me too, prove us wrong and show how it looks! ;-)
I don't hope RedWings are becoming the next fashion hype, i'm starting to see them more and more, i even ran into them in some sneakerstore the other day.
check out this: http://www.horween.com/
horween is one of most famous leather company in world
http://www.cultizm.com/index.php?cat=c12_Red-Wing-Shoes.html sells a nice stock of rw at resonable prices
Question: Are all RW made of Horween leather?
damn, those look nice ed, I ruled those out because I thought they were only available in that dark color that is pictured on the site...
or is that this color?
timmy theyre not that dark actually theyre almost the same color as my black cherry's but of a matte finish...
As I know, no. Only some special lines, like Beckman, Lineman and 100th-Anniversary Edition are made from horween leather. Also RW sells a cheapter mall-line named Worx. By-the-way one thing (of course, apart from quality) most RW are made from oil-tanned leather. This type of leather holds 22% oil instead of 8-10% which usually used.
These are the real deal ;-) not cheap and you have to wait up to 12 weeks for a custom- order made boot but it's every penny worth!
If you like japanese outfits so it's a 'must-to-have'. Check out magazins like 'Lightning or Free & Easy' and you'll see a lot about wesco and white's of course also about all other brands, like Lone Wolf, Chippewa, Danner, R.J.B (Real Japanese Blues), etc.
It's not just a pair of jeans that makes a perfect outfit (an american style outfit that's very popular in Japan)! including Boots/Shoes, Belts, Jackets, Sweats, Shirts & more
Here are some pics:
So, what looks more sweet? The ALD is 2.5 months, almost no fading, they are sooo hard to break in...baggy grrrr ;-)
Nice outfit man  But I'm same meaning like M!ch a tucked jeans is a no-no for me too. It looks like a digger or a little boy who is playing in a sandheap :!:
Another no-no for me personally: never roll a pair of jeans - just stacked or cuffed but never rolled!
Sorry you didn't convince me about the tucked in jeans but the look on this pic http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/v/2002387395456408986 is great
very nice boots and they go great with your Novelty's
on a side note, i would personally like it more if your jeans were not rolled up so high and if they would drag more, but that's just me so don't take it as criticism.
ALD are hard to break in, be patient and you will be rewarded with one of the most beautifully faded dungarees.
...doompadee doo, I've got a perfect puzzle for you.....
