...call me a sucker for novelties, but when I saw the words "Red Wing", "Limited to 50 pcs", "Hand dyed in Japan", "Natural indigo" and "Momotaro" all in one sentence, I was sold. The Dutch shop Tenue de Nimes celebrated their 5 year anniversary by producing this beautiful bright indigo coloured pair of suede mod toes. And ONLY 50 pairs made. They're available through their webshop, but be quick if these are your thing. I'm anxious to get my hands on my pair - I bet they'll age like nothing I've seen. A nice rare addition to my collection.

Hey guys! I'm new to the forum, but I've been collecting Red Wings for years now. I actually live very near Red Wing, MN, but am searching for a pair of boots that are supposedly only available in Japan. I'm looking for the 8123 "Iron Smith" engineer's boots in the burnt orange muleskinnner leather. I've got several other pairs of Red Wing boots that are also supposedly only available in Japan or the UK, etc, so obviously it's possible to get your hands on 'em from time to time. Anyone have any idea where I might get a pair? Also, I wear a 10D in my Iron Rangers, Brogue Rangers, Chukkas, and my 8131 moc toes. Looks like the 8123 I'm looking for is built the same as my Iron Rangers, should I assume the fit is the same. THANKS!

I got these online, when i got them i was really skeptical compared to my genuine 875 these were so much lighter and the leather was thinner. I thought maybe it was just a different material for certain models, then this happend. I was researching on these and stumbled upon a seller in facebook that seems to be selling the same thing------> https://www.facebook.com/redwinkbymo
    take note REDWINK. very dubious.

    Thanks, johnadoo!

For the first time I've leant that there are fake RW boots from Thailand - I knew there was a lot of fake RW boots which were made in (or came from) S.Korea and China and these fakes were in circulation in Japan more than twenty odd years ago (don't ask me about my age!)

Hope you'll get the refund (if you can!)

Sorry for getting that topic up again, but I would have a question about my pair of Red wing 875 I got today from Caliroots. I always thought that shop was legit like, but maybe you guys can help me a bit.

The issue is, that on the right shoe on the picture the leather of the tongue is only half as thick as on the left shoe. And also the inside of the tongue is of completely different color, although the shoes are from the same batch. Is that some sort of production related error or are they not even legit?

Hope my problem is understandable, English is unfortunately not my native language.
    Thanks

Just got these bad boys! A great compliment to my 877's. They're iron Rangers 8112.

They feel surprisingly easy to break in? First day of using them and I don't feel shit scared to get blisters from hell like I did with the 877's.
