I'm pretty sure I'm just going to wear the 11s for a long time. My Tims still look cool, but the PBJs are more comfortable in just about every way. The FHs are really comfortable too, but the inseam is what bothers me. It'd probably look fine with my boots, but wider-legged jeans don't really look good on me unless I can cuff them.

Here's an update at 1 month on my 24-005.
Some stuff is starting to appear under natural lightning.

Nice pics. 24oz must be a pain to break in !

I have a question regarding the stretching potential on PBJs.

    I'm a W30 in nudie AJs.
I really want to buy a regular XX-005 One Wash. According to the information I got W31 would be just how I'd like them to fit in the waist, right off the box.
Based on my own experience my nudies stretched maybe .75-1" tops (no sagging or cheap tricks).

So I would be tempted to size down one to W30 but I have no experience whatsoever when it comes to japanese denim. I read in the first pages of the present thread that PBJs with a dyed weft can stretch a lot but I also read that they are a special case among PBJs so I don't know what to think.

For those who owned a regular XX-005 (ideally one wash), how did they stretch ? Compared to nudies, more stretch ? Equal / less ?

Not alot of activity on the PBJ thread :(

    Here's my 2 months update.
Soaked it right after taking the pics; water turned yellow so I guess soaking was a good idea...

Finally took some decent fit pics of my 11s the other day.

I love the denim and construction on these jeans, the fit is what bothers me. It's almost like it tapers in the lower thigh/knee before getting looser in the lower leg. It doesn't hurt or anything (though it might be a little hot in warm weather) but it seems weird-looking in comparison to the rest of the leg. It's more noticeable in the second picture. What do you think?

    It's hardly noticeable.

Mine has a slight flare too, and It's hemmed!
(opening ~19.5cm on knee and ~20cm on feet)
That one will need to get a machine wash someday...

I believe all PBJ have this, as some peoples complained on sufu about it too.

I think you're fine wi this fit.
The 005 (and the other models with the same cut) have this problem too. I don't think you would notice it on the 003 cut though.

Bought a pair of xx-005 earlier, should receive them tomorrow :D

I went tts (32)based on what my s710xx stretched to. Those are size 31 and now the waist is 34 :O

    Hopefully they fit well!

Had to give my jeans a bit of a wash (cold soak and a bit of aggitation) because my work is so damn dirty. Wow did the water ever go blue. They've lost quite a bit of dye from the thigh and knees but stayed pretty dark on low friction areas. Whiskers are showing up though!

I can never pull off more than a month without a wash it seems :/ oh well I do like the more vintage fade it gives

Can't wait till big gets the xx-013 in though. I'll try and wear them as long as possible without washing! :p

Back on tracks with the PBJ. 5 months, few soaks, no wash.

Combs must come from leg crossing; that seems to be a unusual habit indeed.

Also this one and my APC are sized down too much, so I'll not get lower whiskers on em :/
Next pair of PBJ will be TTS, for sure :/
