Looking good for 3 weeks my friend!

Oh by the way, hello again everyone! I haven't posted on here in ages :p I'll post a picture of my almost 2 year old TLJs. They don't fit me anymore, so I've started working on a pair of Joey Overdrives. Will post a pic this afternoon.

^ Looking forward to it... I for one have still not found a pair of jeans that fits well enough to wear to pieces. Love the dedication!

Hello all, i have ordered my 1st pair of dry stretch TLJ in a 27 waist, i have another pair of nudies that are thin finns which are washed that are 30 waist, do you think i have downsized about right - i am not looking to wash these for a long time and work on some serious fading! :) from what ive read they stretch out quite a bit...?

Most people ask before they order :)
I think down sizing by three compared to TF is quit drastic yet not impossible, but you will know soon enough.
It really depends on the fit of your TF and how tight you want your TLJ DS.
And yes they stretch out a lot on the waist, but also the legs if you start skin tight.

I've mine for 3 weeks now and they fit 1/2 a size bigger already. So I'm happy I got them one size smaller then the fit I liked new, hope it was enough.

    Enjoy..

Wow! Crazy for "only" one year.

I'd really like to know the history of that one.

Wondering wether the light color comes from alot of washing or from long sun exposure.

I think the pair belongs to a man who lives in Singapore.

I second this. I have a pair of the TLJODT but haven't seen any photos of them broken in. Mine are barely there as they're only a month old.

Well from my experience they're extremely soft and stretchy. I'm not sure if they as stretchy as the dry stretch, but I love the twill for how insanely soft they are. Definitely size down 1 or 2 with the twill as they stretch out a good amount...although they're supposed to shrink after washing. I would recommend them, just not sure how the fading is.

do you think they stretch more than dry stretch ? or they are bigger ? My old TLJ are 27 ( too tight after stretching ) so for my next pair I wanna try dry twill in size 29 but I am afraid cause they are organics... a bitch to fade I think...

Update on my kais, two months and a half of normal wear ( it's difficult to get the real colour )

I would only size 1 up then. They were pretty tight at first, but they are really loose at this point. I'd say they stretched at least as much as my TFDBC...probably even more so.

    Hi,

So I'm buying a pair of Tight Long Johns online. I'm a 30/32 in Levi's 510s (or the old Aussie 568s, which are basically the same). Yet when I buy, say, Insight jeans, they can sometimes be a little too large. This isn't a huge amount. I'm just curious as to how much these stretch: Do I go the 30/32, or the 29/32?

I would recommend 29/32, they do stretch out quite a bit.

I agree, get a 29. I wear and 30 in 510s and 29 seems to be the best size for most of nudies dry jeans. And like it was said, they stretch out a lot so it's best to have them be extra tight at first.

I was in your shoes not too long ago and my biggest advice to you would be to make sure you're ok with such a low rise. I buy sized down thin finns thes days because the rise was just too low for me.

Yes the rise is low, my two TLJs have the lowest rise of all my jeans, but I learned to like it pretty fast. Now I think some of my other jeans are too high .
