Took my Japanese dry average joe's of two years to get done after a crotch blow. E-mailed nudie, they sent me two patches of the same denim, then took to a tailor to have them patched and reinforced. Wish he was a little bit more symmetrical though :-? I like it however, gives them more character than they had before.

^Never was a fan of the whole "orange crosshair around my anus" but this looks good =)

I ordered my pair of Nudies from Cultizm, so can I get a repair kit from Nudie?

^ I heard they don't give them out no more but give it a try. The guys at Nudie are nice and generous so I wouldn't be surprised ^^

^they don't have classic repair kits any more, but you'll always get some thread and one or two patches. Just mail them and add your adress.

So yeah, I got my repair kit which consists of a patch of denim. Not too bad considering it's free. =/

I got my moms 30-yr old sewing machine and just went off on my Jims...
I never used a patch tho, i just sew over the small holes a few times.
But since Ive only got small holes n never wait too long I guess I dont need them...
    Does anybody else do this?

I can't believe they told you they would send you a kit, mine just turned up one day after months of waiting- I'd already taken them to the tailors, went mountain climbing and slipped- hole so big I could put my head through it. Tailors did a perfect job though, dyed the loose threads back to indigo and it's basically an invisible mend.

Didn't get any thread in my repair kit though :(

No one has actually said how to patch them up.

Newest member of the 'crotch-rip' club here, will attempt to fix them myself (it's not too bad yet) if not then repair SOS it is.

Question: Does anybody know what the nudies in the middle have had done to them? some sort of patching with dark material? I think they look incredible...

How long did it take to receive the repair kit?

I'm in need of one as my slim jims have 3 huge holes and my blue ones have 1 huge hole. I still wore them until winter ended an now I can't wear long johns, so its as if I'm wearing crotch-less jeans :)
