so I got a nudie repair kit...comes with orange thread, baggybjornn denim patch, rivets, buttons, sandpaper.

I really need to take care of the crotch holes in my jeans which have incrementally grown to 1inch wide exactly in the spots where the fruit hang low. They're great to call out girls on staring at your package, when they mention it...but something has got to be done.

Anybody have any links or step by step instructions on how to do it your self reair on these? Like what kind of stitching method, color of thread....I have orange, should I use a blue thread to blend with the denim? This will definately add to the character of the living denim look...but I want to make sure its done right!

What I do with my crotch holes: take a piece of denim, sew it on the outside with orange thread. It's visible, but I have never had any complaints from others wearing those jeans.
The best is doing it with a sewing machine (more strong), I do it that way, but in the past I did it hand-sewn, less strong, but adding a lot of character to your jeans.
Or you can bring your jeans to a tailor for professional patching. In my neighbourhood there's a very good Turkish one (they sew a beautiful big round patch on the seat of my very old Levi's 501xx).
    Good luck

I got my crotch reinforced.. It was very close to ripping. I took it to the tailor and she did a great job for only €7,-!

(You can't see the threads when standing, only when sitting wide-legged)

What do you guys use to REINFORCE the crotch? Denim patches from nudie or just other fabric?

ive had my bbos for a while now, but havent washed them because they have a crotch rip thats about an inch big. I have the nudie repair kit, so should I repair them before I wash them, and if I repair before wash, do I have to do anything to the patch before repair? thanks for the help.

I contacted Nudie today and they said give them my address and they send me a repair kit, just in case anyone needs to know how to get one.

What email address did you contact them at? I'm trying to find their repair kit, or at least the orange thread. Got a terrible rip in a weight bearing point in my jeans and it has messed up the fit/fade.

My left cheek pocket has a HUGE hole, but it feels so awkward to put my wallet in my right pocket. This sucks.

i'm looking for some advice about repairing my nudies. both of my finns have holes in the crotch. i emailed nudie about a patch for my dry stretch (no reply yet after 3 days), but i'm a bit confused about how to repair my TFDBC.

    here are some photos:

as you can see, the hole is pretty small, and the fabric around it isn't very thin yet because they only have about 4 months total wear.

the tricky part is that the hole is right up next to that seam. should i just sew a small patch over it and into the seam? does nudie have DBC repair patches? the hole is just smaller than my pinky finger. any help is always appreciated. thanks.

Nudie doesn't reply to your email and it will take 2 months until you receive your repair kit. I think you get a piece of regular denim, not a piece of DBC denim. I would just take it to a tailor.
