Sorry to ask a sizing question, but I cannot for the life of me find a pair of Baggy Bjorns in my area to try on for fit.

Is anyone familiar with the G-Star Low Loose fit? How do the Baggy Bjorns fit in comparison?

Also, I tried on some Regular Ralfs today and in the Dry Selvage, the smallest size I could fit was a 32. I could fit into a 31 in the Used De Luxe. I've heard that you should buy the smallest size possible to allow for the stretching. However, I don't like my jeans to fit too tight.

So, what size should I buy in the Baggy Bjorns in the Dry Selvage? Will they shrink a lot in the waist? I've been reading different things: some say they will, some say they won't.

If it helps, here is what I wear in other brands:

    G-Star (Low Loose): 32
Seven for All Mankind (Relaxed): 32
    Energie (Pharrell): 32

go with a 32 if you like them loose, or size down to a 30 if you like them tighter. I wear a 34 in RRDS and a 33 in the BBDS.

If it was me, I would go for the 30's unless you like them really baggy. As far as how much the waist will shrink, they won't shrink much because they are sanforized. So even if they get a little snug again after washing them months down the road, it won't be anything that a little bit of stretching won't cure.

    Thank you for the replies.

I guess I'll go for the 30s. I don't like my jeans to be very baggy at all. I like them to fit comfortably on the waist after being worn for a few hours, but I like a more relaxed cut in the legs.

How were the ralfs when you tried them on as far as being baggy? If the ralfs aren't quite baggy enough for you than I would def. do a sized down BB.

Now keep in mind that when you size down, they will be quite snug in the waist. You might find it uncomfortable at first but they will stretch. That goes for your first wash as well. The waist will shrink back but they will loosen up again.

The Ralfs weren't baggy, not when I sized down as small as I could in the waist. My only concern if I get the Bjorns in a 30 is whether or not I'll be able to fasten the waist. If I could fit into a 31 in the Ralfs Used De Luxe, then I should be able to fit into a 30 in the Bjorns Dry Selvage, right? Keep in mind, a 31 in the RRDS was too small for me to fasten.

I don't have a problem with stretching the waist, so long as I am able to fasten it.

    This worries me.
If it is not possible to try on the BB before buying them, I wouldn't suggest buying 30's if you couldn't fasten the 31's.

Unless you can return them if they don't fit.

Unfortunately, I don't own a pair of BB so I can't make a comparison to other nudies for you.

The thing is, I could fit into the 31s in the Regular Ralfs - but in the Used Deluxe wash, instead of the Dry Selvage.

How frustrating. It'd be so much easier if a store near me carried the Baggy Bjorns so I could try them on.

Maybe I'll just end up splitting the difference and getting the Baggy Bjorns in a 31. Either that or I'll just get the Regular Ralf Dry Selvage and size up to wear them loose.

Yeah sorry I can't be more help. I just don't want you buying jeans that don't fit and then being pissed at me (rightfully so)

Plus, If you like them baggy, even if the waist is a little loose eventually, it gives you an excuse to rock a sweet belt :D

What was your final choise? Did you go for a 31 or 30 (if you got any BB :D) and what is your experience with that size? Im in the same situation as you, since I cannot try them in a store first.
