Our good member Supreme, who works for a Nudie store, has revealed that Baggy Björn will be a new Nudie cut. They are baggier than Frank and have the back pockets very low. Unfortunately, we don't have any pictures of this one yet.

However, we added Baggy Björn to our Forum categories so you will be able to discuss this upcoming Nudie.

Well, I guess, it is the most boring jeans from Nudie for me so this post will be the first and last one in this topic, hehe.
But I wish all the skaters and hip hop guys much fun with it.
I only hope Frank and Björn will stay the only ones and Nudie doesn't become a hip hop label like Evisu etc.

yuck, I hoped Nudie stayed out of this as baggy clothing is pretty ridicolous. Guess I was wrong.

eh who cares if it's a "hip hop" or "skate" label, aslong as they do nice jeans. and to make diffrent cuts, makes the sortiment of jeans cut more broadend and not as snowed in as a label with a bootcut and a regularcut jeans.
and I see it as a positive thing.

Even though I don't like baggy jeans I do agree with XcrulleX that they should have a wide spectrum of choices. It gets boring if they make the same cuts all the time.

Baggy clothing is just plain ridicolous in my opinion. kids from nowadays wearing all their baggy xxl stuff look like clowns. pretty sad they don't realise they are pretty emberassing lol.

I liked when Nudie had just a few models and stayed small.

Like most things in life it's fairly contextual and all very subjective.

To me, the people I see wearing super tight jeans (especially worse if they wear them low AND tight) look just as horrible as those that wear huge jeans. Actually worse, because a wide base looks more natural than top heavy inverse pyramid shaped person.

Certain cuts will simply look better on certain body types. Having a baggy cut allows for body types and/or styles that look good in a fuller jean to have a nudie jean that works for them.

I understand the fashionista trend of not wanting to be associated with certain cliques, and of coveting brands that are barely known except in exclusive circles... But I don't understand complaints about choice and variety, buying the Bjorn isn't mandatory.

As you have read in my first post here I wished all who like to buy it much fun with it but it's nothing for me. Further I just said I don't want Nudie too become a Skate Label not that they shall not produce this or anything different, I just thought Frank is alredy loose (to be honest I can't imagine Björn at all, they will look like a ballon, hehe) and so there are all cuts existing. That's all. There is no further problem. End Of this meaningless discussion. Live and let skate or something in the way. ~smile~

I think there's a difference between "loose" and "baggy". Loose is perfectly ok, I just don't like these these weird oversized crap. I won't go that far that I won't buy anything from a skate lable (some actually produce nice stuff), but everything "baggy" is lame.

I've got a an easy solution of this complex discussion, if you don't like the cut discussion but it or wear it. I mean nudie is the biggest selling Swedish clothing brand and of course they wanna grow and earn money.
and if they can reach out to the general public and sell much they are happy, and they got an bigger chance of selling more if they have more cuts. in the end it's all about money whatever they say.
and every brand wanna grow bigger and stronger, that is just common sense. 8)

of course, Nudie is no charity organisation (although I think some people here think so... ). But that won't keep me from hating baggy stuff. Baggy clothing just doesn't fit into this whole Nudie image imho. They promote an image of idealistic non-fashion denim lovers, not a hip baggy clothing company.

Think what you want about Baggy Jeans, but XMR is right. Nudie always said, they will keep their collection small and will never have army pants etc, so I also thought Baggy Jeans would stay out. Maria always talks about Rock etc...hmm....whatever, this topic is about the Björn and their fans so let us stop this discussion here please.

    Could someone define 'baggy', please?

Personally, i wear my Nudie's pretty large & loose. I'm quite skinny, and my natural size would be a 28, but i wear a Loose Frank size 30, and a Regular Ralf size 32. And i think they look absolutely fantastic this way.. ;)

I must agree i dislike those extreem skate/hiphop-outfits, but as long as it's not over the top, it's ok with me..
