^ Sized up, actually. The waist is pretty loose (sized similarly to TLJs), but they're fine with a belt.

    fit looks good, Mistral.

kmart, what size do you wear in other jeans? I'm considering a BC starcy.

^ Really depends. I wear a 30 for things like the SJ and GT, but I go with a 31 on tight/skinny fits.

^keep em Mistral. The 0201 is pretty unforgiving in the waist. Looks good as they are.

I went true to size, as I didn't plan to soak them before wearing (and I didn't). So they were pretty snug at first and got a bit more comfy, but far from being relaxed or loose. As the waist is pretty stubborn and high, I would have been better off with 1 size up, but it's ok.

Okay, well I just tried them on in a shop in Amsterdam. So I don't know if I went TTS +1 or -1, because I just got one that fitted straight of the rack and I didn't take mention of the size/measurements. Probably the smallest one available at that moment, a tagged 29. Momo only does one size smaller I guess, according to the site but then the waist would probably kill me. Now it doesn't fit loose, but not too snug also. I did end up soaking them, although the shopowner didn't advise it. I want to enjoy this pair for a long time, certainly because I paid big bucks for it.

I feel there is little more shrinkage left in them, once I wash them. Though the inseam shrank about 2", the waist hardly didn't. So I guess when it's time to wash, the fit stabilizes and comes out even a bit better. Not that I'm complaining though... It's good as it is right now.

That's what I thought when comparing the one-wash waist to the raw ones. There's almost no shrinkage going on. Did you take actions to prevent the inseam from shrinking?

    @ Max Power:

Considering the inseam... Why should I have... It was 39" long. The hotsoak made it 37" So after that I had hemmed them, at just a little too long... That's why I cuff at the moment, so when all shrinkage is out, I can do a final hem at just about the right length.

Triple cuffs didn't do it for me, hehe.

I say keep it. If you like it, and you are just starting with raw denim, wear it out cause for me when you first get into raw denim well... For me all you want is more. I have too many jeans from about a year+ ago since I first got into it, and then I just wanted more and more haha. But yeah, keep the CM's, then once you break then in then spend some serious money on denim!
