I would be in as long as it is heavy raw denim and not too tight, I like it more loose

We should have an eternal 811 or samurai S710XX19oz contest. That would be amazing and this more of a fit im looking for instead of the pherrows straight/slim leg fit.

    enough contests... :-|

And the pherrows contest jean is almost the same as the 811 fit, and the s710 is just a bit slimmer.

    indeed, enough...

I think the pherrows 421 is a slightly looser fit then the 811's

    ah got you now.

    I've never heard of them.

But why would you need a contest to get yourself a pair? Just go proxy a pair?

well yeah, good point, a contest wouldn't make it easier, except for the fact you would have several people looking for info on the same jeans, so it might be less of a hastle to find everything...

but I just wanted to answer your 'how hard is that' statement, in general you are right though, a few jeans in the lightning mag. really caught my eye, but I never even considered a contest, I'll just do some digging for info, then if possible, proxy a pair...

imo it doesnt make sense to do a contest for "common" japanese jeans. unknown brands are so much more interesting for a contest. if you want to see pics of broen in 710s or 811s you just can browse sufu and find loads of them.

i think Aztec make a right point.
I'm looking to be part of the contest, but i'm looking for slim fit, no a loose fit
We should find some new brand like tazumi or something

I'd be up for an Oni contest... My reds are just one month in, so I could just start wearing them again when everyone else is at the one month mark.
