^ ...can't compare a Conny to an LVC jacket, eh? But more important- do you've seen the Valencia St. Jacket I've linked above?

not to be a negative nancy, but if i needed to buy a denim jacket but was stuck between choosing a really cheap conny on ebay and waiting for this particular comp to get off the ground, i know which one i'd be all over... ;-)

anyway, at that price he can easily do both

Somebody impatient too and want another one? There's a very nice EDWIN jacket in Dry Rainbow Selvage on sale at frontline < 75€). Really nice.

i'm not a fan of the edwin jackets i've seen. they have a sen model, but all the pockets are tarted up with those fruity selvage lines. i'm really starting to hate that detail on my sens :-(

Hi all, just an interest check if anyone is still up for a denim jacket contest. Cultizm has decent stock of the Type III jacket, 6 in size L and 7 in size M. It'll prob be a small-ish contest, but if we have a good number of participants, maybe 15, I'll try to get Dejan to sponsor a small prize.

Since sizes are limited, I won't discuss this in Sufu until all mynudies members who want to join can get their size first. It'll prob be 2 years at least, since it's hard to wear it everyday esp during summer.

That sounds like a good idea. I wouldn't enter it since the Sugar Cane type III that I bought 3 years ago doesn't have much wear to show, but I'd be curious to follow this.

That'd be a really cool concert, though, perhaps expand it to dry denim jackets in general to increase the size of the contest and, assuming you charge a fee a la the STF contest, increase the size of the prize?

Regardless, it'll be great to see the end results, I never see examples of worn in Dry Denim Jackets.

I'd like to revive this thread, as I noticed some people here are interested in a follow-up on the OOE-tour. So far, i got the following ideas:

    - Nudie Big Bengt Veggie (interesting model, and this is mynudies after all)
    - BDD 02 (as they're made by a fellow member, who should participate then)
    - Resolute (need I say anything?)
    - Samurai Elemental Model (You know why)

I'd be ready to do the organisational stuff, if enough people are willing to participate. please see this as point for discussions, I'm open for propositions.

And btw, my size is between 31-33"...

    I hope for some feedback!

So you're planning to do a contest or world tour?

I'd really like to know why the Samurai Element model. Why should we knoe? :-D
And Resolute...yeah they would deserve it as well as a pair of BDD

Planning would be said too much right now. I just want to see if there is any interest. I don't want build up concurrence to the OOE tour, it's just a bit of market research ;-) After all, we all will surely miss the touring when the OOE is done...

And concerning the Elemental model: Samurai is of interest for most users, it's a special, limited Edition, it's expensive (good to split the price) and it could give the tour the attention and curiosity it needs to recrute enough contestants. At least i hope so. But the Veggie is somehow my fave, but it won't sho much fading, i suppose. It would be great if we would get support from nudie on that, but I fear if we try, we'll just be disappointed and then the complaining about nudie starts again

I would to see/do a pair of BDD.
The veggie seems to be a nice contestant to..
But the big benqt doesn't suit me very wel and the fading capacity is also very low
