If you go to Barney's of New York you will find pretty much all the colors, sizes and fits. They have the best selection of Naked and Famous and, of course, Nudies!!!

I tried on the "Bullet Proof" Kevlar woven jeans. The big disappointment is that they are not actually bullet proof.

They are very heavy, but not the heaviest from Naked and Famous. They are unbelieveably rigid and uncomfortable. It felt like trying to walk around with jeans made out of a sheet metal. I haven't tried on their 26oz denim, but I'm sure it is softer without the Kevlar.

A radically new procedure called "hemming" can make such awfully long jeans shorter to fit you better. It's due to be launched in 2011 but some tailor shops and drycleaners are offering it already

I just picked up a pair of the Gray Weird Guy, and the rise is absulutely brutal! I feel like people are looking as if I had bike shorts on.

Looking good, how far along? I'm guessing 5 months. Also, what fit? it's hard to tell without seeing the bottoms.

Well I goofed up a small bit in sizing when I ordered them.. about a year before getting my skinnyguys in the broken twill I tried on a pair of the skinny silk denims. A 33 fit really tight around the calves and knees, but my legs have gotten much slimmer since then. I naively ordered my broken twills in a 33, which were initially a good fit. After about a month I'd say the waist stretched at least a good 1.5" and the knees are a little baggy. Looking back, I probly should have ordered a 31 in anticipation of them loosening up

Oh also, a few weeks back I gave them a hot soak. Some dye definitely came off, but nothing too radical. Before the soak, I had needed to wear a shoelace or belt to keep from having to pull them up every 30 seconds.. since soaking them I haven't needed to belt them up :) also, there's a really nice light blue radiance starting to shine off of them that wasn't there before. It'd be pretty interesting to see where the color will go with consistent wear, but I just recently got a couple pairs of much nicer selvedge, so these n&f are now dedicated to landscaping, hiking, construction, mushroom picking, etc.. Only time will tell if I get something horribly disgusting on them (and I mean HORRIBLY) to make me wash them, but right now I have no wash planned for them within the next year or two!

I'm gonna take a shot at answering this one, correct me if I'm wrong. No, they're broken-twill not regular indigo. Also, the general consensus on regular indigos is that they are nearly impossible to fade, so by all means keep workin at them, but you definitely have one of the hardest to fade pairs of dry denim out there.

So, guys, just picked up some N&F x Momo SkinnyGuys. Beautiful jeans.
Never liked how N&F starches their jeans, though, as they are stiff as hell.
