Yeah they fit me very nicely ;-) And luckily they can chain stitch in Amsterdam too from now on at TdN. But i don't have the time to go to Amsterdam anytime soon so i hope i can send them to the guys at TdN. Otherwise i might have to send them to London. Thanks for the tip anyway, will look into it ;-)

Man if you have the chance to get it done in your own country, then do it!
And the Netherlands aren't that big, are they ;-) So a trip would be worth it. They sell quite good denim at TdN, right?

Haven't been there myself but i hear good things about the store. But i don't have the time to go even if it only cost me an hour to get in Amsterdam. Besides i have enough denim to focus on and i can't really afford it so if it is as good as they say it would be some kind of torture to go there. Will go there this summer, hopefully to get a pair of Momotaro Cycling Jeans ;-) But i just checked the site of DoW and it seems pretty decend and cheap so i guess i will just send them there if it doesnt work out with TdN. Have you experience with DoW?

    :p

I don't have a chainstitch machine myself unfortunately.. I have been looking for one (cheap:roll:) for a while now.

BDD was chainstitched in manufacturing process, abroad, you see.

Didn't know TdN had a chainstitcher though..

    Fit pic here http://www.mynudies.com/forums/showpost.php?p=249350&postcount=2782

And info about the chainstitching by TdN here http://tenuedenimes.blogspot.com/2010/01/chain-stitched-into-new-year.html

Edit: Hemming by DoW will cost me 18 pounds, and shipping back is around 10 pounds i guess since shipping is 6.50 pounds if you are in the UK, which im not. Sending to them will also cost me around 12 Euro so in the end it will cost me an additional 60 Euro to get them hemmed by a Union Special 43200G. Getting them hemmed by my local tailor will cost me 6 Euro. So i guess i will take them to my local tailor first and get them hemmed, but keep the inseam a bit longer so that i can get them hemmed at TdN when i get there sometime and get a chainstitch after all.

Have done some math too and if i would decide to get them hemmed by DoW the total of the jeans would come at 320 Euro, while they cost 289 Euro at TdN (and getting them hemmed if you buy them there would be free i guess). So in the end it all would have been cheaper to just go to Amsterdam and get a pair there. It would also been a lot quicker and easier (with sizing etc.). Not that i care at all, but its a sad fact ;-)

Fit is really good. Do you know if they resemble some certain Levi's cut?
Looks like a '50s cut to me.
And after one week...hell, those combs will be killer!

Fantastic fit. Height/weight and waist measurement? Did you size up or down? (32 on the label, on your frame thought it was smaller - you must be a giant).

after googling a bit these are sometimes described as a low rise (sometimes mid-rise) classic slim straight fit with an tapered look.
From you fit pics I would have never guessed that.
Would be very nice if you also could us provide with actual measurements.
    They came raw, right?
