^Yeah...I don't think people want to buy these kinds of cuts because there are already similar (not to mention, REALLY popular) existing cuts. eg) TLJ, TF. And I'm sure many of you all know how "trends" and all that can affect someone . Personally, I don't think I'll be investing in too many Nudies unless they're older models now. Nudie hasn't done anything in particular that has piqued my interest (well, exception maybe being that greencast BB). I respect the fact they're trying to use organic cotton and the like, but I feel like every jean they're producing now is just...the same . There is nothing that really differentiates them -- even more so now that a lot of the older cuts have been...well, cut. True, they had the hemp and cashmiere jean...but those were so expensive...!!! Or maybe I'm just being delusional, lol. I feel like Nudie has changed, but maybe my thoughts on denim is changing even more so. Ah well.
That fit is very similar to TF, GT and TLJ, with just small changed to em. Instead of making a new fit, they could just make a "Grim Tim Dry Stretch".
Tube Kelly Dry Neps from my gf: they look raw with a woven structure like cheap carhartt's raw jeans, but they are coated and they feel flat when you touch them nudie calls it a "slightly greasy hand feel " weird... 11,5 oz dry comfort stretch 98,5% cotton/1,5% lycra
For some reason the Tube Kelly is the model that best suits me, I've tried Average Joe's, Slim Jim, Grim Tim but for some reason they didn't work for me. I've been wearing a black TK since the end of July/early August and that's my favorite pair so far. I also have the rinsed strikey version but I've stick to my black one so far.
Just like a normal sanforized raw. 40°C should be fine. Did you already wear it for 4+ months? If so please post pics
Since I am not that familiar with this cut, the choice is based on the fabric. I voting for Org 16 Dips Dry for curiosity. The Dry Neps seemed predictable.
Today i got a pair of these Tube Kelly's. Will they fade out like dry jeans? Should I wear them as often and as long without washing?
@ maxpower I asked Nudie the same Question. Yes you should wear them as often and as long as you can. The results are better with 13 oz or more heavy dry denim but Tube Kelly fade out, too. It will take a little bit longer with the TK but it will be worth it.
So anyone has some progression to show on their Tube Kelly's? Too bad this particular cut doesn't receive more love.
I've not worn mine much yet: only 3 weeks of actual wear time. It's not because it's bad or anything, but like many peoples here I bought too many jeans and don't have time to wear them all now :/ Anyway, I'm planning to wear the TK this summer and will probably post a decent update before september.
