How much harder is the TFDC to break in than the regular dry? And is it true that TFDC has a longer yoke than the TFD?
Nice thread btw
TFDC is that TF dry comfort or TF dry coated? :?
I think they are the same cut. I haven't heard anything different.
I used to think that the comforts took longer for fading, but now I'm not sure.
I have seen some great pics of the comforts after some wear. I like the streaky look, and the indigo stitching.
In my opinion, I would say they are comparable to each other, but the dry stretch might be a bit faster fading.
I'd say TFDC is Dry Comfort. The Dry Coated would be DIC (Dry Indigo Coated) DBC (Dry Black Coated) etc...
about the thin finn coateds...in general are you supposed to go down two sizes? i've been contemplating on getting either the ultra coated or black coated...but havent figured out what size iw ould need...i am a 29 in the slim jim dry and they have stretched out a lot...so what should i go with the coateds? 28 or lower? thanks guys!
slim jim sizing and thin finn sizing are exactly the same. Coated denim runs half a size bigger and has a bigger leg opening by 1cm in the same size as a regular dry....
I didn't know that.. That's good info, cause I think they might be my next nudies.
I have time though...
Levi's 511 = Thin Finns?
I have some slim jims size 32 x 32 in dry and they aren't as tight as I would've hoped. I am a big fan of the 511 cut from levi's and I was wondering if thin finns are a more comparable fit to the 511's than the jims are? Thanks for the helppp!!
Yes the thin finns would be closest to the 511 because they both have a skinny taper. The slim jims are more of a slim straight tube leg. Hope that helps.
Thin fin dry blacks fading
wats up guys first post on this forum but i have been wearing nudies for about 2 years now. i got a pair of nudies thin fin dry blacks and they dont seem like they have faded that mmuch i have had them for about a year. i did wash them at the beginning because they were to big and i wanted to shrink them. now they are perfect and i have been wearig them for about a year without a wash. does the dry black just not fade much or what?
yeah well dry blacks fade very slowly but after a year i would thing that there would be some. Pictures would be helpful
Dry blacks are extremely hard to get wear. Just keep on wearing them hard, and they will look nice in the end.
yo guys just a quick one here, what is the difference between TF ultra indigo coated and dry black coated ? (since they're both black).. and when faded, will both look shiny ?
i think cultizm posted the wrong pic for the ultra indigo coateds.. cos in the picture they seem really similar to the dry black coateds
They both look black.
You can't really see a difference until they are side by side.
Correct pics. Think dark blue. Seriously dark blue.
man i would really want one of those.. but cultizm doesnt have the 26s .. and i think theyre around 50 dollars cheaper than the nudie store in sydney (incl post)
Well you could try emailing Dejan at firstname.lastname@example.org
Maybe he could order in a pair for you.
so before i make my decision, will both ultra indigo coated and DBC have the same type of fading (in this case the shiny and waxy look) ?
