That is a prewash I think, so it really won't fade at all...

Hey i´ve got tfds´s in 34/32, but they´re a bit loose so i was thinkin about gettin new finns in 32/34!
now i came across these and i like the narrow leg opening, so since these are slightly tighter than finns should i go with 33/34? can anyone help?
    thx

The waist on my Tape Ted's is bigger than the same tagged size of my TFDS.

waiting for the black slubs one to be available in the shop in 26/34 or 27/34 :|

got a TFDS 28/32, eventhough it's already 28 it's a liittle loose while wearing it a bit lower, so i'm hoping 26 or 27 is going to fit fine with those since from the looks of it you're better off wearing them a bit higher (hence the /34)

For anyone wondering about the fit of Tape Ted here is my experience:

I had been wearing Thin Finns for a few years and about 4 months back had to sell them all because i was broke and plus i was getting sick of them. I have now gotten myself 4 new pairs of nudies. I started on TF again so the first pair i bought was Thin Finn Peter Replica and they fit great in 32, my usual size for years. I am about 170, 5'11 and look pretty skinny I would say but not crazy thin. The TFPR were fitting awesome so I moved on to buying a few more pairs of TF but when they arrived (i went through about 6 pairs, some dry, some coated, some washed) they were not fitting correctly at all compared to all the other pairs i had over the past 3 years. The waist (I am a 32) was always too small (some washes wouldn't even button in 32!) and sizing up made them too baggy/sloppy and the leg opening too big (even the TF 32s [except peter replica] leg opening was too big for my taste now-a-days.) So I decided to return them all and go all to TAPE TED. Let me tell you, these are WAY WAY better than Thin Finn!!! I am so happy with the fit. I have 3 pairs of TT now and they are by far my favorite jeans and I will never part with them. They are very similar to TF, but at the same time feature some MAJOR improvements that take them into another realm of perfection. They are a tad looser than TF up top (all 32s TT fit perfectly) but then have a smaller bottom which gives a neater roll and they just look way better on me. To sum it up, they offer a skinnier look because of the smaller bottom but at the same time are more comfortable up top so you win all around. I have the Dry Grey embo, Brown weft and clean used...all are epic.

I'm looking into this fit, I like the tighter thin finn fits but I don't like the idea of having to size down too much to get that fit. I tried a pair of tfds on at a store tts and it was too baggy for me. How do the sizes run on these? and how do they fit in the leg? I have a pair of tljds in size 29 (they're too big, 28 would probably be perfect) but they're a bit too tight in the leg for me. I guess I'm looking for something in between tlj and tf fits for the leg, is Tape Ted what I'm looking for?? and would I get a size 28 or 29? my true size is around 29 or 30, I can fit a tfds in 29 buttoned up but it was a bit uncomfortable. I just don't want them to shrink too much after a wash as well. Thanks.

Take the same size as those TTS Finns you tried on and the Tape Ted should be perfect (as it is exactly what you have described; between TLJ and TF).

Thanks for your reply, but won't the waist be too large if I went with 30? I thought you had to size down with TTs

TTS means "True To Size", or not sized down at all. So if you tried on a pair of Finns in 30, and they were a bit loose, the size 30 Teds should fit tighter. You don't want to go with a 29 because they'll be too tight.

So I'm looking to buy myself a pair of TT Black Black Rings(97%cotton/3%elastan).But I'm not totally sure about the sizing. I've had a couple of TF, dry and coated both at 32/32.
The waist on the TF is a bit loose, but a w31 would be a too tight, around the legs the TF arent really tight at all. Would sizing down to a 31/32 for the TT be a good idea? I'm 6'1, 170lbs.

    Hi matthew, welcome.
In my experience, for the same tagged size, TT runs baggier on the waist, butt and the thighs, but due to the tapering to a slimmer leg opening, a bit tighter on the calves.
The way you describe your TF fit, I think sizing down by one is just fine.

Got my TT 31/32 in the mail a couple of days back. They were a bit too loose around the waist, returned them for a 30/32.

So yea, TT are alot bigger in size than Grim Tim and Thin Finn.

Im about to buy my first pair of nudies, but I have no chance of trying them as I live in Slovakia, so..Im gonna buy them at online shop.
Im just curious which fit would you reccomend me if I wanted to achieve this look? (just fitting, not color).
It could be slightly skinnier, but not skin-tight, also I like to sag a bit on back So is it possible with Tape Ted, or should I go for High Kai which are high-rise, so I can sag them more?
These are just basic H&M denim pants:
