I think you will be fine with that one, but remember that they have a 32" inseam. And if you like bootcuts - why not the regular ralf?

Well, he sent me another email today and apologized for making a mistake. He said the ralfs are actually 32x30. I normally wear around a 32 seeing as I'm 5'8" with a bit of bunching. So my thoughts are that this will probably be too short :(

If i were to add a denim patch to reinforce a brand new pair of sj, will it safeguard it against crotch rips?

    I agree, 30" won't work...

Hi, you're from germany I guess (why do you call yourself DICK :p ???) ?

I bought myself a AJOSI from this seller, everythings fine and I'm sure so is your sunbleached Jim. I like that wash, it's distinctive and something different. Last not least: I'm watching the same one too... Visit the prewashed thread if you buy that pair:http://mynudies.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8301

    Cheers

I guess it's an older prewashed (rinsed) model, very dark, but I'm not sure.

My dry japans never were as stiff as for example my RRDG or my APC's.

The coated models stretch a bit but I guess you should go for your real size man.

    quick SJ help

ive been wearing my bootcut olas for a year (29x32). i love the way they fit just want something slightly slightly looser for work. yesterday i tried on the barry's in a 29x32 and they were too big, 28x32 was perfect. i tried on SJ dry broken twill and a washed pair of SJ and 30x32 was perfect in that size. i couldnt button the 29x32 in SJ's but woder if i should get the 29s to accomodate for stretch. i really want to get the dry japans but have never tried that denim on, what size should i order you think?

i want to make my slim jims a liitle bit tighter in the leg (the waist is fine) andy ideas , hot soak the legs and leave the waist areas out of the water?? will this effect the whole fading process ??

Side notes they are SDDJ and i had them for about 1 1/2 weeks

It was just my birthday so I'm going to get myself some jims. I was thinking about broken twills, but now I'm leaning towards greycasts. My true waist is 29, and I'm wondering if I should go for 28s or 27s since I read (on cultizm) that they run a touch big. I have a pair of NS that are 26s, but I'd like the fit to be a tad looser than them. So 28s then?

nah not much and the thighs wont stretch alot, if you size down too much you'll have tight thighs and it will look awkward
