i hear that you can take of the boot cut off the ALFs
i wanna do this because their too long and kinda bell bottom esque on my legs and occasionally drag
can you just take them to a tailor to remove them the bootcut?

oh and sorry to double post
but, i looked on the nudies website and i don't understand the term "organic"
is it similar to selvage or its on a whole different level?
sorry to nub out but i have a pair of RALFs and i'm just not too sure on to rock them as selvage or just casually

Hey pagno, I'm not a tailor but I don't think it's worth the effort to take the bootcut off the RALF. It's subtle and it looks good. I wanted something more tapered at first too but most people won't even notice it. People will think it's just a regular cut.

From what I've seen, "organic" doesn't fade in the same way that selvage does. Basically, selvage will usually look amazing faded and for organic it depends because there are variations.

Organic is usually softer and selvage is stiffer. Selvage is more classic. Organic is more of a modern cool.

    oh okay
    so
    basically
your saying that they're similar then?

its just the way they feel
but i still i don't get the whole deal with the fading process
i mean will it be more a less looking like regular washed jeans?
    or somewhat selvage?

    ???
    All Regular Ralfs/Alfs are bootcut.
Average Joe is almost like the Ralf fit without the bootcut.

Right, it was discontinued two years ago or so, but they restocked some pairs this March/April. They're sold out by now. (Maybe write nudie and ask if the got some in the outlet store, but as they're pretty sought after, I don't think so).

But, good news: The RADS is a very nice jean, give it a try ;-)

    Hey guys,
after wearing my APC NS for almost 3 months, I've decided to wear my Ralf again and wow  I have forgotten how nice this pair of bootcut jeans is.
I'm still worried that nudie will retire their old classic. Instead they should produce jeans their Dry Greycast denim, sadly I've never own a pair for myself. :-(

I want to buy a new one... thanks anyway!
Maybe i'll buy the 31/36, thanks for the link max power. Butt if I make them shorter to a 34 size I'm afraid to loose some bootcut, don't you think?

I just recently bought myself a pair of RRDS (tag actually says 'Regular Ralf') in 33/36. This was the only size my local shop had left, so I took them, knowing Nudie had just discontinued RR. They were too long, so I had them hemmed a couple of inches. I would still say they are bootcut, don't think so much of the bootcut is lost if they're hemmed.
