So yeah, I've got a question..
I'm going to America in a couple of weeks time, staying at LA and SF.
I was wondering if America stock the Levi's Blue Star collection? I live in the UK and we have it here.. but it's quite expensive. So yeah, if somewhere like LA and SF have it.. I'm pretty sure it would be cheaper..
I'm guessing you may have a hard time finding those. I'd never heard of them before, but just doing a google search comes up with almost nothing but UK sites.
Cool thanks. Yeah, I didn't think they would have it.. Cheers anyways
Got another question...
For those who live in Amsterdam.. I'm going there in a couple of weeks.
I know Levi's Blue Star is quite popular over there? Could someone give me estimates of prices of like a pair of jeans or something? Just wanna see if it's cheaper than here in England.
Yeah, never seen em here unless some random store carries them. They're the ones with the white patch and the arcuate stitching is way low on the pocket, right?
Yeah that's right!
Nevermind now.. Got back from America last week, had an awesome time!
Got back to England and found the Levi's Blues were on sale
How's the quality of 'em? Do they fade well?
does anybody know how much should i size up/true/down for Levi´s® 1966 Rigid ?
LVC in US
Hi,would to ask if LVC stuff are available in every/most levis store in the US?thinking of asking a fren to get it for me.Wat are the prices like also?more specifically a pair of LVC 1947 501XX Raw
go get them from here
thanx for the reply.but i do not have a credit card to order online.
the idea is tt my fren is in the US & would like him to get it for me if its available in the stores.dun wan him to make a wasted trip to the store itself
you could use paypal, link it with your bank account (using debit, it takes a few days to activate tho). go to www.paypal.com to open an account.
I saw that they had the '47 LVC in the stores, but when they're there, they seem to move quickly. I don't recall the prices, since it was about 6 months ago.
yeah i think the replica's right? i see them at a local store for like 150usd.
Could someone give me the sizinh chart of the LVC '47 501 of all sizes in CM??
And whats the difference between the japan and usa version...
hi,could anyone help verify if the pair in the link http://www.levi.jp/mens/product/475010017.html is a pair of LVC 1947 501XX Raw?
I'd think that it's going to be the LVC since, based on the path listed above the pics, you're in the LVC section of the web-site.
Deedee: I've never seen such a sizing chart for any LVC, so I'd be interested in seeing them if you find them (hence the sizing comparison thread, most of the info courtesy of lilldavid).
I have made a similar post in http://mynudies.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4609. It's not up yet and I found this thread (which i find relevant too).
Anyway, how you tell one genuine 'Levi's Vintage Clothing' from another pair of ordinary jeans? What are the special characteristic or quality that the Levi's Vintage Clothing possessed that other Levi's jeans don't.
I got mine, thinking it's a Levi's Vintage Clothing (due to the year) but it's not. I know mine by reading the card behind carefully (limited edition) and being unable to locate the words 'Levi's Vintage Clothing'. Here is my jeans.
We make repros that aren't LVCs. Such as the 1966 super slim in Levi's stores right now. Those must be a few years old. The tags are from a while back. Not LVCs in the sense you're thinking though. And not Levi's Premiums either (LVCs before they were called LVCS). They seem like a cool collector's pair. I would say just keep em for aesthetics. That's what I do with some of the prewashes I will never wear.
