    Heey Dr. House,

    Is GTDDO hard to break?
I have got AJDDO, and those are the same, right?

    Nice fit btw! :)

    Grim Tim size

So I have long and skinny legs. Like really long, it makes my upper body look really short. So for length on Grim Tims should I get a 32 length or a 34 length?
Also I usually wear a 29 waist should I size up since they're slim?

don't size up in the waist, because they do stretch (assuming you mean the gtddo).

if you're legs are long enough to fill the 34 inseam, go for it. if not, i wouldn't recommend it.

Sry, I'm a bit late. At first they didn't show any fading, but after two soaks they fade & stretch really nice.

^ am i wrong, they seem to stretch quite a lot? mine are falling off me at the moment, but i don't know if it's due to my fluctuating weight? i don't really wear mine all that often, so it's hard to keep track of it...

I just saw a pair of GT in Used Dust and love to have a pair but not sure it i will like their fit. I have a pair of AJDH in size 32/32 which is perfect as i wear them low so 32 is about perfect length.
How does the fit below the knee compare to something like a ESOD. I remember trying them on in size 32 and felt they were quite tight on the calves so went and brought the AJDH.

They are pretty tight around the calves man, especially if u have regular to muscular calves. I have AJ and GT both in 32/32, and the difference bellow the knee is very significant (tighter than ESOD). But, that is the fit/style, so imo dont size down from ur AJ siz, especially with prewash...

    thx
If i were to get a size 34 in the waist do you reckon they may be loose enough around the calf. Are they the same as the AJ's in the thigh?

they are tighter than AJ in the thigh. Problem if u size up to 34, is the waist/seat might be loose. From the sounds of it, u might be better off with trying the slim jim.

grim tim's dimensions are similar to the average joe sized 2 size down (except in the waist). in other words, a size 30 gtddo will have the same same thight, knee and calf measurements as an ajdh in size 28- but the cut is much different, so they don't really look all that similar.

    @dr house:

Thanks for your reply! In six months I will post my progress ;)

@Johnni: I have both AJ, GT. My GT has more space under the crotch. And in the upperlegs it has more space. But they are more tappered in the lower part of the legs. I would say, size 1 up from your Average Joe. But if your not sure, I would fit em first, cause the fit is, just like davety said, very different.

Goodluck! And post some pics if you buy them :)

I have some GTDDO 1 size down that fit great and a pair @sizes down, a little tight in waist but otherwise fit great. The waist did stretch out some pretty quick.

size down, the gtddo stretches like a bitch. my true-to-size looks like clown-pants now, which is not what you want from a slim fit...

I sized up one from my Slim Jim size bc they were to tight in the calves and ankles. The waist is pretty big on me but nothing a belt cant fix. Mine havent stretched all that much but they have a little. I dont exactly know my true waist size but id say try them on if you can find a size that is comfy and then size down one to accommodate for stretching. I kinda regretted on sizing down at first but in the end am happy i didnt.

Fit pics of my 33x34 GTDDO size up one from my 32x34 SJDJ

    Hello everyone.

Before I ask my questions allow me to share with you guys my fairly limited experience.Im new to the world of raw denim and in the hunt for my first raw jeans. I found that Grim Tim is the perfect fit for me as it gives people with muscular tighs, like me, a perfect slim fit.:) I also tried pairs of APC NS and APC NC. The NS were fine on the tighs but had a rather large leg opening. The NC had a perfect leg opening but the tighs were way too tight. So, Grim Tims rock yeah.:p

Anyway, enough of me talking, my only worry is in regards to the rise of Grim Tim. From my limited knowledge, Grim Tim has a mid rise. That is correct right? I like to sag my jeans. Will sagging my Grim Tims look alright, despite the mid rise?

Secondly, I will be purchasing Grim Tim DDO. My true size is 31 and I fit prewashed Grim Tims, size 31, perfectly. Considering the fact that I will be wearing the GTDDO for much longer than 6 months, possibly a year or longer, how much should I size down? One or two?

    Thank you.:)

Any help? Hoping to confirm my order ASAP. I'm especially concerned about the sagging bit.

Hi guys, i need help on the sizing with tims. Im a 32/32 in the thin finns for a loose fit, (or 31/32 for a perfect fit). Im wandering what size in the tims i should get that is equivalent to a loose fit in the thin finns.

    thanks
